Thornton looked like he was really ticked off pretty much the whole night. He made eye contact with us several times. There were quite a few B's fans sitting behind us. It was funny listening to them going through the stages of grief during the game.
I didn't come to your gdt with the intention of hanging around but...WOW! What exactly do you mean by he stopped coaching?

anyway, good luck the rest of the way and hope to see you in the playoffs....if we even make the darned thing the way we've been going.
Classy post thx, as u have in the past.

Of course u will make it and the recent tailspin will be meaningless...

We were watching him. At the beginning of the game he seemed very involved in talking to the players. He had his notes out that he referred to quite a bit. Early in the 2nd after we scored that goal it just seemed like he hardly did anything after that. He put his notes in his pocket before half way through the 2nd. He was very still and stood right in front of where we were sitting. I always thought of Julien as an animated emotional coach but I saw none of that last night. I really got the impression that he thought the game was over after it was 2-0. When we got the the third period I didn't see him say much of anything to any of the players. He just paced back and forth a bit. One of the bruins fans sitting behind us commented about how Julien was just a spectator at that point.

There was an assistant coach to the right of us. He seemed much more involved in the game than Julien.

Jack Edwards can kiss my Canadian Panthers loving WE SEE RED ... ***!

What a beauty of a game! I loved the song choice too at the end of the game to send B's on their way.

his my theory on the buffalo game. if we win it we're up 8 points with 10 games left for buffalo. i think its safe to assume we can play 500 hockey over our remaining games after that which would be 10 points. so buffalo would need 19 points in 10 games to pass us. so yes i am guaranteeing it. im not stating that it is mathematically certain, but im prognosticating it.

I've been out of town all week and missed both butt kickings. They better not lay an egg against the Sabres.

If you want to float me the money to stay in Vegas that long sure. I was here for the Carolina win so I'm not a total jinx.

I thought about it but every time I bet on a team they lose. It doesn't matter what team in what sport but I have never won a bet on a game. So I refused to put that curse on the Panthers.

We just need to have Washington Lose to Chicago and Detroit on back to backs then they have another back to back and we need them to lose to Philly and then beat Winnipeg on the second half.

Winnipeg needs to lose at home to Carolina (not likely) at the Penguins then at Washington to give us some room.

Preferably we just keep winning and we don't have to worry about what anybody else does. That would be the best thing for my sanity.
