So nice to see the same level-headedness we see in every Sens prospect thread... Ugh.

He should hit 30 pts, if he plays with Spezza and excels I could see him getting up to 55. My bet is probably 38-42 pts

I don't see how you're being any more rational than anyone else...

Sure acting like you are though.

If someone made a montage of Silfverbergs snipes only...I think he'd gain some fans around here real fast. Kid overwhelms goalies from anywhere blue line in...the puck really does explode off his stick and it's real quick.

I'm not saying Kyle Turris is one of the best shooters in the NHL...but he's got a good one, and I think Silfverberg's may be clearly better.

Considering Zuccarello (SEL MVP 2010) is at a 40pt pace, and doesn't play with Jason spezza, I think its fair to expect that same pace from a younger Silfverberg (if he gets top 6 minutes). Will be nice to see him next year.
Sens haven't had a forward to be excited about as a rookie since spezza.

Zucc is 5'8, but 40 pts in Silfverbergs rookie season would be great.

Zuccarello has 1 assist in 6 games this season?

Pace is not a great way to compare, Luke Adam was on pace for 60 points 25 games in, then didn't get a point in his next 20

My bad, I said "is" instead of "was".
I was talking about his rookie season where he had 23 points is 42 games.

I wasn't comparing their attributes, but more so the fact they were/are both young rookies who dominated the SEL. Basically, if Zuccarello can do it, I don't see why Silfverberg can't.

1 goal 2 assists today so far against Frölunda. Beeing compared to Forsberg by commentators.

I think they meant the way they both shelter the puck very well. Frölundas forwards we just slipping of him today.

If Silfverberg can transition his game to the NHL you look at 60-80 pts rookie season. I haven't seen a swedish rookie player this good since Forsberg. The thing is its playoff time in sweden and he plays like this! Amazing

Wished he was drafted by the Leafs.

Will be very interesting to see him next season, if he comes in and plays brilliantly right off the bat, we might see more swedish players play an extra year or two in the SEL instead of coming over as teenagers. Probably smart from a developmental point of view in a lot of cases. He looks fantastic out there.
