Don't add that little piece there if you don't to be called out on it.
This comment further proves your ignorance.
The problem is not you calling me out the problem isyou as per usual are absolutely clueless. You can call a person out but when you call them out and you happen to be the one who is wrong the "calling out " part doesn't mean much. And of course in this case as seemingly is always the case you're wrong.
Oh good, he had a good game so we can wait until the next time he lets in a goal to get mad at him for not being Henrik.
its not about him being Henrik...its about him giving his team a chance to win...i dont htink hes done that since 2011 turned into 2012....except for last night.
Biron has definitely lost something. He's given up 4+ in 5 of his last 8 starts. Forget about him "not being Hank". He's not playing like an NHL goalie half the time lately. And yes, the team is partially to blame as we've been playing poorly lately as a whole. But Biron giving up 4+ in 5 of his last 8 starts is not all on the team. We were still playing very well when some of those games took place. Biron is done, IMO. Something happened or age caught up or whatever.
Not sure how anyone can be upset with biron's overall performance tonight
you can't be too thrilled with it either...
Defense was clearly the goat tonight, but Biron gives up alot of
soft goals, and seems to lose focus in tight games. mentally he
doesn't look like he has it anymore.
he's been a good back up, but lets face it, we couldn't overcome:
The Pens, the refs, no lundqvist, no Callahan, No MDZ, no secondary scoring, plus defensive blunders.
I don't blame the loss tonight on Biron even a little.

Agreed, the 4th goal though was terrible by him. His rebound control on that play is unacceptable. McD deserves to be smacked for losing Dupuis though.
However, he didn't play awful in that game. The D was really poor.

The rebound goal was the 5th one. The 4th was a sharp angle shot top shelf by Kunitz. Should have definitely got that one.
I thought he was excellent and kept them in game during the first period. He seemed to be playing with a lot of confidence, making snazzy glove saves (nothing like the one Fleury made on Gabbby) and controlling his rebounds. But after the 2 goals in a minute (which wasn't his fault), he seemed to lose some confidence and started fighting the puck. Then the Kunitz goal was the back-breaker. He needed to make that save and keep the team in the game. I know he gave up 5, but I thought he did a fairly good job. The team defense is what did them in last night.

I do. G that allows goal in early minutes of the period is responsible for a loss that usually follows. Every shot is stoppable, except some weird deflections. Saves do not count, only goals against do. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
I think we lost to PIT because of goaltending. We scored 2. Should be enough. Back-up G is an okay excuse, though. Just don't blame team in front.

I heard a panel of ex-coaches talking on TV the other night (Keenan,Milbury and someone else) and when asked about Biron they all said they wish they had them as a backup. Keenan went on to say that one year his backups had 2 wins total and cost them a run at the Cup because of seeding and wearing out the first string goalie. I didn,t catch the team but I think he might have been talking about Philadelphia. All said as a backup he is fine but the Rangers need a healthy Lundqvist this spring.

Agree 100%
I thought Biron had a solid game. 5 goals against wasn't an indicator. Defensively we were putrid.
