Worst game i have ever seen in awhile. Gotta love Greenings enthusiasm. Looked like he just scored the game winner for a World Juniors game.

I never understood what happened.
Easy : Defense (Meszaros, Corvo, Redden, Schubert) and goaltending (Gerber/Emery) crumbled like a castle of cards after that hot start. Team still finished 1st in goals scored in the NHL but the defense/goaltending sucked so much that it had to be rebuilt (Karlsson, Cowen, ..., Lehner, Anderson, Bishop...). That's where problems started. The team was basically the same that went to the SC finals, Murray didn't make many changes.

You guys should re-read the GDTs sometimes and see how sad this fanbase looks like sometimes... So much quitting, so much whining, so much blaming, so much sadness, so much everything

The Habs are the Habs, they are just massively lucky sometimes. The Sens hit 4 (FOUR) freaking posts tonight and outshot the Habs 33-14 (also 25 shots blocked and 21 missed. Shots were basically 79-28 lolz), the Habs almost never touched the puck. The Sens totally dominated them, Habs were just hanging in there, barely surviving thanks to Carey Price, his posts and Josh Gorges.

Very happy with the result, don't want the Habs to get a top-3 pick and they got a point. Best case scenario tonight.

Our PP just sucked, but that's what happens when Alfie, Spezza and Karlsson all have so-so games at the same time

That being said, people's behaviour still make me laugh... Enjoy it while it lasts, instead of sounding so sad all the time. There's so many problems in this world and you make it sound like cheering for a hockey team is amongst them.

Just take a deep breath and hope for the best. Coolness is needed

PS : by the way, I have randomly quoted this post to say all this but it could have been many others.

Well... Habs have 14 shots and only 3 scoring chances (1 went in)... If the Sens don't deserve to win, but more or less than the Habs?

I love this team. They win and they make it tough on all the losers who cheer for them too.

1st in the NE in March? Come on you dolts. Nobody would've believed it. This team is good, not great. Just enjoy it.

Yeah, I get weird looks all the time. That's why it's nice to drive up to ottawa sometimes!

Congrats on the win, glad you guys knocked Boston out of the division lead. Now win it! Been cheering you guys on all season(besides the 4 games we play, of course).

Here's to hoping we see a rematch of the '03 ECF finals.
But with a different result this time.

That game 7 loss was the cruelest blow to Sens fans, never really
got over it until they got past the ECF and into the Finals a few years later.

Instead of chancing it, Bishop uses his glove to snatch the puck from between Gilroy's legs and plays turtleshell with it til Montreal moves close enough for the whistle and the Sens can get a whole new set of legs.

That is great situational awareness. Mad props. I really like this kid.
Meanwhile the idiot CBC commentators were going on about about how Ottawa had a great matchup out there with the Spezza line out there and the Subban/Gorges pairing on the bench.

Toronto doesn't have a shotblocker who can stop 9 on his own. If we can keep the intensity up I there is a good chance..

I don't even think that was one of Klinks best games. You're in for a treat if you are just able to watch him now..

Aren't you going to the game tonight?

I love how some people think that was an undeserved win last night. It was COMPLETE domination. If you count missed shots, shots on goal and blocked shots we took 79 shots! If you look only at SOG we had well over double their shots, when was the last time you saw a team with only 14 SOG? The only part that sucked tonight was the PP obviously, but if the other team is willing to lay down infront of shots like they were, there isn't a whole lot you can do about it. If we play like that against the leafs it should easily be 5-0, I just don't see them willing to lay down in front of the shots and they don't have Price in net.

So much for the so called "experts" who picked the SENS to finish dead last in the eastern conference. The playoffs are going to fun in the nations capitol Leafs and Habs fans!

Half of Sens fans, myself included, had then as a lottery pick. The other half had then in the 8-10 range.

I was thinking the exact same thing watching the game. Every pass back to the point or through the slot was flipping like a fish across the ice. I'm not sure whether there was some kind of event at SBP or something, but the ice was dreadful.

There were at least 3 or 4 times I was certain we were going to score and the puck skipped over someone's blade.

It was a strange game alright. Sens were sloppy, just not clicking for most of the night, trying to rush things rather than simplify their game. Luckily, the Habs were just that much worse and it looked like the controlled 80% of the game, especially after the first period. So frustrating that we get 9 powerplays and can't do anything on it, it was painful to watch. At times we couldn't even keep the puck in the zone or complete a pass properly.

Atmosphere in the building was great as always and nothing sweeter than shutting up the Habs fans with a big OT winner. Leaving SBP, there were massive chants of DIVISION LEADERS!!! And GOLF HABS GOLF!! Habs fans looked like a broken bunch heading out, was great to see.

Not sure where you were looking but Yahoo and NHL.com both have him at 71 points and have an assist in his game log from last night.

It's all good!
