The "At least the Rangers play tonight" thread.

Post something ******, where we can at least be grateful that the Rangers play tonight.

I just lost my car, and my girlfriend and I split up, but at least the Rangers play tonight.

If it makes you feel any better, I lost my car during the lockout. You live in the Yonkers area?

Stan Fischler is on my television, but at least there's a Ranger game on tonight.......

Ah, ex-girlfriends. A year from now you'll be thinking, damn... I let that one get away... It was a really good car... Take my advice my friend, I got it from a very wise man. When you feel like crap after breaking up with someone, go get a haircut, put on your very best shirt, and get out of the house. Sitting around feeling bad won't get you anything. Going out and getting noticed by a new somebody is the only cure for missing the old one. And no matter how great she was or wasn't, you'll get over it. And of course, the ex girlfriend wisdom to end all wisdom, and I quote...
"No matter how beautiful the woman,
No matter how special she is,
Somebody, Somewhere,
has had it up to here with her BS."

Good luck, Brother,
You'll be fine.

I've got 3 essays to type and 150 pages to read, but hey, at least the Rangers play tonight. That stupid homework stuff can wait until after the game. That's provided they win.

You have the idea!

I didn't make this thread to have people go "Damn that sucks" in my general direction. I've had lots of **** days, where not much is goin' my way, then I think "At least the Ranger's play tonight", and that makes things better. Even if we lose, I like to see my boys in blue on the ice. I'm sure some of ya all feel the same, so God damn it, let us know how the Ranger's playin' makes your meager existance more enjoyable.

i came home a stumbling drunk last night, and fell into my bookcase trying to get into bed. I now have a gash on my arm and a huge, painful friction burn on my back. But at least the rangers play tonight.

Hey Sock, always remember they make newer younger models every year with less mileage on 'em and more options, plus with some of the euro models you can take their tops down, or raise their bonnets up. As for the car, I like Jeeps, myself. Anyway with Weekes in net tonight if the D plays the way it did last night, and NY dosn't take that many dumb penalties they should squeek out a win tonight.

Heh, sounds like lots of ppl had a tough weekend. Mine was pretty good until Saturday night. I was walking, crossing a street, was snowing pretty heavily and I had my head down, and along comes a car, turning onto the street I was crossing, him not seeing me, and me not seeing him. Guess what happend next... So it was Me Vs. Car, and after all is said and done, the car has a shattered windshield, I have a nice bruise on my head, and I'm out a suit(docs had to cut it off in the emergency room). SO I guess you can say I won. Once I was done with all the hectic rushing to the emrgency room and various tests that make you feel like your an alien specimen, all I could think about was whether the Rangers had won on friday night, it was Sabbath for me so I couldn't find out the score on Friday night or Saturday, and if they had won last night as well. When I got home, good news all around
