Alright episode, I just think Annie-Jeff is way creepy and should never happen. Britta-Jeff on the other hand...
I agree. Whenever Jeff's open about his feelings for her (which seems to happen alot lately), it feels pretty forced, IMO (timeline episode, UN episode, etc).
If Community wasn't eye-rollingly corny, it would be one of the best shows ever. I realize that the corny story-lines are part of the joke, but being too meta is almost always a bad thing.
It sounds strange, but the best thing you can do as a Canadian for the show is pirate the episodes from a major torrent site. Visibility is down the list, but it matters, and they know what the most pirated shows are.
In America: DVR it unless you have a Neilson box. Even if you watch it live, DVR it as well because live plus ratings get shown to advertisors as well.
But last Thursday's attempt at normalcy isn't normal at all. As Alan Sepinwall notes "Even when 'Community' is normal, it's not normal, because it's not quite like the episodes that aired before or after it. The show takes very seriously the idea of college — even a terrible community college like Greendale, where Dean Pelton is surprised whenever anyone demonstrates they've learned something in class — as a place where you can change yourself into anything you want to be. And it keeps reinventing itself accordingly."
This show is circling the drain creatively. I was hoping the hiatus might inject some desperation or energy or something to get it back to its roots... apparently not.

I'm pretty sure some of these episodes were already done when the hiatus happened.

This was an amazing episode. Sets up so much. Abed becoming alienated from reality, Troy dealing with his deteriorating friendship with Abed, Jeff realizing his biggest fault is his own ego, Chang set to usurp Dean Pelton and take control of Greendale.
Another hilarious line: "This is a decision you won't regret unless I overthrow you!"

I have caught Community fever since discovering the show recently on Netflix. I'll need to check out Season 2 soon though.
You're in for a treat.
Too cartoony, too much time given to Jeff's issues (again), not enough Annie-dressed-as Judy Garland. My least favorite episode since the Model UN episode.
