I agree that we dont want to mess with things while they are still working, but if you can get him to play like he usually does in the playoffs, that would be a major addition to this team

I dont think its a matter of "flipping the switch" but a matter of finding chemistry. He has shown in the past that he needs to be at center to be his most productive offensively. He also needs to have chemistry with his line mates (see hartnell, leino, and prospal)

He better do something in the playoffs because he is the next one to go if he doesn't step it up. With his cap hit this team could be more well rounded with possible TWO players.

He needs to get mad, he plays so much better when he's pissed off. Lavi needs to get in his face and give him a reason. Try anything at this point just to see if he responds. He's been given plenty of chances to turn things around but he has no confidence right now.

I think it is time to put Simmer with Roo and give Danny Harts back to see it that is the magic solution ? If that don't work, I would have no problem with Danny sitting a few games.

He and Carle's salary = Suter and a very good 3rd line center

Maybe we can get him to wave his no trade clause and go to the Habs to finish his career. He has clearly hit the wall. Come on Danny dammit prove me wrong.

The Habs wouldn't take him after the Gomez fiasco.

Not worried at all about Danny. Danny always.always.always. turns it on in the playoffs.

I don't care how bad his season is...playoffs are handled.

Hockey is a game of ups and downs, every "good" player finds a way to pull through eventually. Some people here need to relax.

Bryz plays bad half the season, half the fanbase wants to trade him.
Look at him now.

Hartnell played bad at the begining of the season, half the fanbase wanted to trade him. Look at him now.

Briere is struggling. Half the fanbase wants to trade him.

See a pattern?

Half the fanbase would make terrible knee-jerk reaction trades if they were General Managers

Also needs to be noted half the fanbase wanted Briere gone in 09-10 before he lit it up in the playoffs.... so it's not like this is anything new.

Dude, I never liked Briere and was willing to trade him any time of the day, any day of the year, but you're being ridiculous with your avatar.

Its fascinating/telling that you didn't take this firm anti-briere stance until he dared to criticize bryz.

If Briere doesn't turn it on come playoff time, you may get your wish. I think he would waive his NTC to return to Buffalo.

New fans...unfamiliar with danny

Look. I hate briere. (Yea i said it) i think he's an ego trip/ panzy boy...
But danny is clutch in P/Os like the sun will come up tomorrow.

You just need to have faith. (As much as i hate to admit it...)
