Wouldn't surprise me. Kings are brutal in the 3rd period it seems. Our usual strategy is to score a few goals in the 1st 2 periods, and then do nothing in the 3rd and pray we can hold on.

We tried that in Phoenix, won in a shootout.

Not happy about Wilson being scratched again either.
That boy will be playing somewhere else next year
and light it up . WTH is Trotz's problem? Toots has been dreadful the last few weeks but he keeps putting him out there, Wilson makes one mistake and he sits.
I am not likely to make past the first much less the second if this is what we are going to get.
I think that would be the best thing for him. I hope it happens!

Looked like Kopitar caught a rut or just lost his edge and fell, rather than trying to run the crease.

Is it just me, or has Suter looked like trash for a few weeks now?

Sometimes it seems like Suter's mind has already left town.
Brutal. Dustin F'ing Penner.

Sure would be nice if we could do that once in a while.
Thanks for another screwup, Suter. Maybe he should report to Detroit now and stop screwing things up for us.

That was an awful play by Weber. You cover the pass receiver and let the goalie take the puck, not get caught in-between.

I can't recall how often it happens, but Weber never seems to make the correct play on 2-on-1s.

I wouldn't blame the D there. I'd blame Rinne honestly. I'm a goalie and have been for about 12 years now and that would have NEVER gotten through my crease. Gotta be more active with the stick blocking passing lanes.
Now the Kings will go in a shell. It happens EVERY game for us. We get a lead and in the 3rd, we sit back and put forth zero effort.

Either way, it's still a terrible read by Suter to get beat, and Weber made the incorrect play.

Agreed. He goes in-between all the time. He gets lucky sometimes and breaks up the pass, but it's frustrating to watch.

No kidding. If I had an extra 7.5 million, I'd spend it on that, exactly. Worth every cent.
