OT but where in the bay are you? I'm in the east bay.

Now that we're winning, do I have to go to the Kings vs Sharks game(s) in SJ remaining?

So at the start of the year, noone on the planet would have thought that approaching the playoffs, the 2 best players on the Kings 2nd line would be Jeff Carter and Dwight ****ing King

Too bad Sutter will never call him out. It worked for Kopi and Brownie.

What a freakin' game. Bernier was like Mr Velcro except for the one rebound on the 2nd goal. Unreal. I love how calm he is. He makes every save look easy.

I know Rinne is a good goalie, but man does he give up some bad goals against the Kings. Despite the turnover, which happened in the neutral zone, he should have had King's goal. Just a sloppy play for him. His 5 hole was wide open.

HUGE props to Lewis tonight. He was awesome tonight. That pass to Penner was amazing.

Amazing 3rd period. The guys are having fun out there and it shows. If I'm the other teams in the West, I'm VERY scared of the Kings now that the scoring has come on if we can get into the playoffs. I think the last two spots are the Kings' and Sharks' to lose.

Post-Carter:
  • Averaging 3.3 goals per game (compared to 2.05 prior)
  • Limiting goals against at the same rate (2.10 per game)
  • Improved the PK from 86% to 88% overall; three shorthanded goals
  • 24% on the PP (compared to 16.3% prior)

What a game. We scored 4+ goals on Rinne AGAIN. I like this scoring goals thing. The Kings are looking like a potential dark horse team.

Tuesday is going to be huge. The Sharks are starting to heat up and they need the points just as much as we do. I hope this is the beginning of a true rivalry.

East Bay too. And yes, yes you do!

Great win tonight, we're fine if we keep this up. Really like our chances since Carter has been in the mix and everyone else woke up.

I did like the switch to Voynov on the point with Doughty and moving Richards up front. MR looks to indecisive on the point on the PP, and he is gritty enough that he can work the front of the net.

As for the ugliest King award, Dwight King has about 15 years of high sticks, pucks to the face and lost fights before he reaches Kelly Buchberger level.

What a pass by Lewis. I mean, WHAT. That was ridiculous. And as much as I hate on Penner, it was nice to see him score and smile for once. Nice to see Clifford and King with a goal too. Two great kids.

The Penner goal was quite bad as well. Penner basically put it in at the back post, no way that shoulda got across the crease....

Excuse me?

Why aren't you calling out anyone else talking about the ugliest King. It's a funny convo, who cares.

That is the post you replied to, where the first thing I mentioned was how I LIKED the PP switch Sutter made. I guess reading comprehension isn't a strength.

I'd just like to add that Patric Hornqvist is a *****. Figures that it's yet another Swede who masters the art of diving. That's a special talent they have there.

Never forget Floppa in the 2002 playoffs against the Kings. That was truly a pathetic display. Great talent but his flopping was a black eye on his career.

There's a reason why Don Cherry refers to them as chicken Swedes.

I couldn't careless about the looks. I'm just talking about the actual game. It's just funny to read all the nice comments and then come to yours and see.. "I'd like to change blah and blah". Just funny.

[QUOTE=Martyros;46278105]

and that this pic wasn't even close to the look he gave after his goal, it was much more creepier.

on another King note, he's first call up compared to his second call up is night and day and I'm happy to say that I was so wrong about King, I thought King would be out of the Kings organization within 2 years, I'm so happy I was totally wrong and me being a big Ted Nolan fan, I'm over the moon that Jordan is doing so well.

keep it guys, I'm rooting for ya!

I mentioned how I liked the change Sutter made in the 3rd when he put out Voynov on the #1 PP and moved Richards down to forward and you accuse me of being negative? How does that make any sense, please explain it.

Thanks for replying in the GDT when I praised the play of Scuderi, Voynov, King, Kopitar and Lewis, but you cherry pick this post when I am actually praising Sutter and accuse me of being negative, lol, no pleasing some people.

I like how Scuderi didnt get involved in the big hug on the 2nd goal, didnt want to contract hockey cooties from the 3rd line

My mistake, I thought it said didn't like. I'm always used to reading stuff that you don't like or whatever. So, it came naturally.

I wasn't posting in the GDT fyi.
