Not bad for his first year in the OHL. The Devils could always use some more scoring so he's got a shot at being an NHLer if he can shore up his defensive game. That +/- is horrendous. Let's hope he improves on it next season and takes his offense to better than a point per game.
Doubled his point totals from last year. And remember, he was a -37 last year, so that -14 may not look great, but that's fantastic improvement in that category for Scarlett as well. In fact, in the last two months combined, he was a +9.

Does management trust Kinkaid that much yet? Marty, as much as we love him, is on his way out. We'd better be very confident in our backup's ability to be the #1 if necessary.

That's very good for his first year in the OHL, especially since he is such a raw talent. He'll score more next season.

That's a very impressive season for Scarlett. I hope he can build upon it further next season, and maybe get some playoff experience. I'm very impressed at his minute eating ability.
I don't think they are going to chuck Frazee away because he isn't the new toy on the team. I expect him to get a look otherwise they wouldn't have given him a 2 year deal.

Yeah, that's my rationale as well. I mean if Kincaid plays lights out in camp, then he'll get the spot, but management obviously has some faith in Frazee and I think he'll get his shot unless he totally falls apart (which is totally possible).
Frazee should have been the clear #1 in Albany this year but has been outplayed by a rookie. I don't think he's going to get a shot to play for NJ. I wouldn't be surprised if we moved him in the offseason.
Outside chance that if Kinkaid & Frazee both lock down AHL spots, with Clermont still in the ECHL - also considering the unknown ECHL affiliation for next year (I'm betting on Orlando) - maybe they send Wedgewood back to juniors for his 20-year old year. I'd be very surprised, but if there's no room anywhere for him to play...
I'd be less surprised to see Marty/Kinkaid next year than Marty/Moose again.

Maybe I was wrong, I was under the impression their numbers were pretty comparable this season.
On this weeks episode of Talking Red we had the chance to interview Jared. We talked about his top 20 list and a bunch of the prospects. You can check it out here: http://talkingred.libsyn.com/webpage...-jared-ramsden

How can you have a clear #1 when you play 3 days on, 4 days off. Who made the schedule for this team, PSE&G?
