Radulov and Salavat appear to have reached a deal allowing A-Rad to leave for Nashville now. Salavat to keep his KHL rights (Sport-Express)

Yes, we gave up a lot for a "cup run" to get Gill, Guastad, AK. They were tradable pieces on bad teams. It shows some commitment and desperation at the same time.

Speculation-- we had a window to sign Weber with his old agent when he was named captain (Weber said he wanted to work something out), but Poile rested on his laurels. "We'll talk when we're in the same city" "Call me old-fashion, but I prefer face-to-face meetings".

Honestly, if it was a given that Suter is out of here, he should have traded him in offseason when we could've gotten a king's ransom for him and signed a FA to somewhat replace him. It's Hamhuis all over again, but the opportunity cost is much higher.

You can speculate that Poile has done all he can possibly do, but it's just pure speculation and opinion.
How much time did you spend in Poile's office when he did or didn't work to get FA players? None? So your "barley attempted" is just as much "opinion / speculation" as you're calling somebody out for?

Thought so.

If you are the coaching staff, do you let the team know about Radulov in the 2nd intermission? May give them some jump

Weber needs to start using his brain as much as he needs to use his body.

Too many passengers thusfar tonight. If Trotz doesn't peel some paint, then our 'leadership' group had better do it. Might be better if they did. Pathetic.

You could easily adapt some of this language for hockey.

Before this stretch, I was thinking it was risky to bring Radulov in, that he might disrupt the chemistry too much... now i'm thinking he might give the team some jump. Let's hope it's true and 47 is in the lineup soon!

Is Shea actually going to hit someone else for the remainder of his career as a Pred?? If he's hurt, or even just wants to save everything for the playoffs, DO NOT PLAY HIM AT ALL. The CAPTAIN of the Predators right now is Mike Fisher.

Too much of the leadership group is along for the ride tonight. It's only a four game trip .... they need to man up tonight.

Of course, this is the cardiac inducing team that loves to wait until very late to finally play like we all know they can and pull out a miracle. They need to realize they can play well from the beginning of the 1st through the 3rd.

Needs to keep himself injury-free for that big Canadian payday in 13 months.

Time for Halischuk and Bourque to show the big money boys how to play with heart.

Klein your mohawk does not make you any tougher. Nice play though on saving that goal. Nice glimpse of good play in ya.

I guess are all star top 2 best d man in the league was out of position on that two on one breakaway again in the eyes of some..Weber??

Lindy is playing a very nice game so far. You go boy!
This team needs to pick up the want to. I thought the game would be worse and it should be. Hope this team comes out and gives a **** in the 3rd
