I watched that a few times and I actually think he was anticipating Malkin trying to flip the puck up so he lifted his pad to counter that. Oh well.

Not used to seeing a Flyers goaltender play as well as Bryzgalov has these past few weeks. Pleasantly uncomfortable. Perhaps we can go one NHL playoffs without goaltending being the running joke on HNIC and elsewhere as to why the Flyers are not a legit contender.

Still a couple stinkers during that period. I think Bryz has been a lot more consistent in the past 2-3 weeks, than from the beginning of February.

this is some insane praise goin on here for this mofo. I'm glad everyone seems to have gotten over their periods. IT is nice to have a goalie to trust. sky's the limit at this point. And can we now admit the east is better then the west? People still act like it's 1999 with that stuff but the atlantic division alone is better than any other division in the league.

I think you are overlooking the Central. It is close between the two but St. Louis, Detroit, Nashville and Chicago are AT LEAST as good as Philly, Pittsburgh, NY and NJ, if not better. NYI and Columbus cancel each other out (NYI is obviously better than Columbus, but at this point they aren't a legit threat to anyone).
