Coming from an outsider, Im watching this game because I picked up Lindback in my fantasy as a last ditched effort to keep my team alive.
Right before that goal, Suter played Perry (I think it was him) extremely weak and Lindback made a great stop
Is that the typical Suter. I'm a Flyers fan and on our board, everyone wants to sign Suter, but when I watch that, I certainly don't want to pay the money he will get
So what gives? Is that the normal Suter or just a bad play?
He's been off for a few weeks, but not absolutely terrible. He's having a career season on the points side and is still a premier top pairing defenseman. Perry is obviously a good player and we're near the end of a Pacific road trip back to back which is likely a reason why everyone looks especially terrible tonight.
Bad play is bad play, just tossing some mitigating factors in there.
Too much of the leadership group is along for the ride tonight. It's only a four game trip .... they need to man up tonight.
Of course, this is the cardiac inducing team that loves to wait until very late to finally play like we all know they can and pull out a miracle. They need to realize they can play well from the beginning of the 1st through the 3rd.
There are still mistakes, but the hustle and drive are there this period. Now if the PP could get in gear tonight.
He can be. He's a bit slower than Rinne. But he's a solid backup.
I think the biggest complaint from Preds fans is that he doesn't play enough, so he's usually rusty when he's in (plus, it seems he doesn't get the same goal support or effort from the team -- for reasons unexplained).
