I tried searching ticketmaster for pairs of tickets and the only option they have available for 2 seats are for the most expensive ones (still only $33, but a little more than I'd like to spend truthfully). Are the side/end tickets sold out or will they come on sale later or what?

They said they were forced to open up the upper bowl because demand was just so overwhelming. I don't know what the prices are for those seats though, since they don't usually sell them. I'd guess 15 bucks (the cheapest ones).

Word was they were not opening the upper bowl for the first round, but they are VERY disorganized. If enough people complained they would open some upper sections but I think they want to fill the lower bowl first.
Thirty bucks for a playoff game is still not too bad when you consider what they are charging for that garbage they are trying to pawn off as nhl hockey in this town.

If you are serious about going I would get them asap.
There is going to be a major media push all week.
It will be dicey trying to get a ticket at game time.
Even if you do, you will be facing a big lineup.
I would look to avoid all that and get tickets to the first two games asap.

Yessir they are. I believe. Some buddies of mine just got theirs yesterday. Row 3 seats.
I have officially bought tickets to the first two games. I was tempted to buy the pass, i just don't know if I can guarantee usage of it past the 1st round.
