We need an image of this, just with Sid (or Bylsma)'s head instead of Uncle Sam.

I hate to be the one to resurrect this evil, evil thread, but Malkin looked in pain after blocking that shot with his knee. He was skating at the end, does that usually mean he will be OK?

Also Staal is playing really slowly, hope its just mental...

Looked like a stinger, where it feels like death when it initially happens and then the pain lingers for a bit thereafter. Malkin looked to be skating really gingerly after that except for about three times where he had the puck, saw an opportunity, and then paused before turning it up a notch, as if he were saying to himself 'o'k, this one's gonna hurt a bit'. I think he'll be fine.

I noticed him skating back to the bench a little hunched over. He'll be alright.

I thought it got more of his right hand than knee, but I only saw one replay.

So has anything been said yet (i.e. during postgame babble) about Geno being "day to day"

Not at this point of the season when you've played 3 division games in 4 games and picked up 5 of 6 points.

You have a point, but you usually don't get the day off when you let that happen to you the night/day before.

Playoffs are in three weeks and these guys know how to respond - their last embarrassing loss was followed by an 11 game win streak. No reason this time of year to schedule an extra practice.

While I absolutely love Victory and hope he is alright, if there is anywhere we have the luxury of insane depth, its 4th line C (Park, Jeffrey, Adams)

I really wouldn't want you as my coach. They've been playing great hockey all year, huge win streak and now played 3 games in 4 nights probably against the 3 best teams in the East besides us and picked up 5 of 6 points. I guess some are simply never happy.

Yeah I'd be a tough coach to play for. No complacency, demand perfection. Definitely not a players coach.
