He swallowed everything. I agree with Torts. He looked at the tape and said I really like what I see, we were doing the things we need to do.

You might not win every game you deserve to win but you will win the majority of those games...

Varlamov is a very good rebound control goalie. it didn't help that we shot Into himeither :/ but Brodeur isn't a rebound control goalie as much. however, NJ preaches trap defense.

Well you know they just get for the Rangers regardless. Marty especially.

BTW why sit Stralman over Bickel? :/ I liked our defensive play recently, it looks a bit better. Puck possession should be like how it was a few nights ago.

True, it's just Bickel was a pylon last game for a bit. And I like Stralman's offensive side

I never understand the "need" for Devil fans to post on this board. Is your obsession with our team really that much?
While those two instances are definitely valid, it's not like we dominated the Devils in those games and outright deserved to win. If anything, they outplayed us in most of our meetings this season, and goaltending and the Pk were the only things that kept the games close. We need a much better 60 minute effort tonight if we're going to get any points.

The air is warm, and the game is of the UTMOST importance.

This is our first playoff game, as far as I'm concerned.

As a Norwegian that has to get up and go to work 25 minutes after the game is over (4 hours after midnight here when the game is over) I'm not a fan of the later start - but hey...I'm in my couch with my Ranger caps and jersey trying my hardest not to wake the rest of the house when we score...

I say we bag it 5-1 with our first line wreckin havock again..

zuke with 2 pp passes tonight...

Do you have any kind of forum etiquette? FYI quoting that long of a post is unnecessary and really clutters the thread. If you go back and edit the post taking out the OP it'll be that much better. Also, I think quoting a post like that has effects on the thread itself.

Gotta love the dedication! Sign of a true fan!

Must win tonight. Hopefully the guys are well rested given they haven't had to travel for the past 10 days.

I was gonna go back to campus today but I stayed home because I had to watch this game on my TV.

Plus, if we lose I won't have anybody to attack so it's probably safer for everybody.

Switch Zucc with Dubi and let zucc pass the puck to an aggressive Callahan.

I think if Dubi isn't playing well this game it's something we might see. I'd like to see it, but Dubi put forth one of his better games last game, yet Varlamov robbed him on a couple shots. I think Zuke will move up the line-up tonight though.
