If Hasek or Roy(especially Hasek) played for the Devils all those years behind that "D" with their nauseating trap, their numbers would have been miniscule and Hasek in particular would have had the Vezina trophy renamed in his honor!
Couldn't u just see it; the 2012 Hasek trophy goes to Henrik Lundqvist!

Brodeur's ability to handle the puck actually augmented the Devil's style during that period, so you could actually argue that Marty did better in it than Hasek would have. Much as I love Hasek.

No argument there; probably the best part of Brodeur's game.

Very true, his stick handling was properly the most valuable trait he provided that team(he is probably the greatest stick handling goalie ever-some would argue Hextal). In essence, he could single handedly nullify a forecheck. However, Brodeur could never do what both Roy/Hasek did-carry mediocre teams.

Amen! If Brodeur had played for the Sabres all those years, he still be chasing Roy's record.

For my money Hasek is the greatest goalie to ever play the game anyway.

I think it'll be another embarrassing loss to the Devils. Sorry, folks. I just have no confidence in this team's game right now.

Since I decided to watch it from home and not buy tickets, watch the game be amazing...! Better off, my track record at MSG isn't too great... Rangers lost every game I went to

This. Keep your 600 wins. When Hasek was in net people came to see him, not goals. I've never seen anything else like it.

Fact is Hasek played behind average Buffalo D and O where he was best. Hasek=best goalie in the world for me, any day

Hey Tony, do you have a high res copy of that awesome Eddie picture? I'm a huge Maiden fan (and of course Rangers fan) would love to have it.
