Yep, let's write off the last 8 years and start over. Again. 'Cause I'm sure looking forward to not watching the Leafs for the next few years because of some *******'s Pittsburgh style tank strategy.

Leafs gave up 36 goals against in 6 games verses the Bruins this season, while managing 10 for themselves.. Not sure I can remember a recent time with that kind of domination against the Leafs.
Ottawa in the 05-06 season.

This game has destroyed any patience or tolerance I've had for Burke. He needs to go at season's end. Not only has he put together a team that will again finish near the bottom of the east and the league, but he has put together a small soft team without any of the toughness or truculence he talked about all this time. A team without seemingly any heart, pride or fight in them. It's bad enough losing these kind of games as often as the Leafs do, but to do it while showing they don't even care is too much.

I look forward to the days when this team is not getting pushed around anymore

I just don't understand why it's taken 3 years to do it

It's hard not to miss the Quinn days - rarely did the Leafs ever get pushed around

This ^ it's officially over too far back too many teams ahead of us. When Boston turns it up we are light years behind the best teams in the NHL, my hope is that when the unholy alliance takes over Burke is shown the door.

Why was Carlyle so upset when he called that timeout in the 1st? Didn't Burke show him game tapes from the previous games vs Boston?

What was Komisarek thinking going after BIG Milan Lucic again? Lucic fed him so many rights Komisarek was begging for a left!!

Tyler Seguin just turned 20 and is an absolute gem and is turning into a legit Leaf killer. Good job Burke.

Time to turn the page on the Brian Burke Phil Kessel era in Toronto.

What a stupid 2 game win streak against Tampa and Ottawa, could have been 15th in the East right now

Carlyle has visibly aged in his short time with the Leafs.

I'm thrilled!

This is exactly the kind of b!tch slap the Leafs needed to know their place, and could potentially demoralize them for the rest of the season and give us nice, warm, fuzzy lottery pick. PLUS, we have our 2nd rounder where we can grab another nice pick.... maybe even package it for another late 1st... maybe Vancouver? MacArthur + TOR 2nd for VAN 1st + Van 2nd?

All I know is I turned it off after the first with a big smile on my face, and thoughts of the draft dancing in my head
