I don't think even he should've expected a better showing this time around, but surprisingly he did ok.

As a leaf fan, I'm disappointed Orr was sent down, at least he got under Chara's skin, beat the tar out of Lucic, and actually showed some balls against Boston. In my opinion, he actually was almost the lone reason, the Bruins toughness wasn't as apparent last season as it is this year.
Wow, I had no idea getting the snot beaten out of you = "did OK."

Leafs fans are hilarious.

I wouldn't have held on anywhere near that long. Komisarek got it handed to him.

The last body shot by Lucic was the beginning of the end of that fight. You can see the pain on Komisarek's face as that shot totally winded him.

Fun fight to watch, I love seeing Komisarek fail all-out, whether it's his silly turnovers or getting beaten up all three times he challenges Lucic.
You know what else was fun to watch? Lucic hiding behind the linesmen because Orr blew his nose up. What goes around comes around. Did anyone actually expect Komi to win this fight?

Sure if ok means 4 straight uppercuts with no response is what you are looking for. Lucic could have knocked him out with one more punch if he wanted to.

Is this the first fight between the two since Komisarek moved on to the Leafs? I can't remember if it is.

Lucic could have easily kept pounding him, i'm surprised he kind of let up a bit. Those two really don't like each other.

Jesus christ, over dramatic Bruin homer fans, just as bad as Edwards. Komi didnt lose his soul or anything thanks to Looch, he has had a bum shoulder ever since and that is the only thing holding him back. God.

At least Komi stands up to guys he knows he's going to lose against. Looch cowers in the face of guys he knows would pummel him, like BGL. Yeah, your boy was scared, and he proved it time and time again.

That fight was a microcosm of the Leafs vs Bruins this year

Those people who keep bringing up Orr's fight with Lucic are a joke, that was 2 years ago when Lucic was only 21, he's 2 years older now and is beating everyone in sight including Matt Carkner who last year beat up just about everybody including at the time the #1 heavyweight, the late Derek Booregard. When Lucic was young he had a very good fight with Chris Neil, call it a draw, last year he pulverized him, same with Prust, there is a reason why Lucic was voted by his fellow players as the toughest player in the NHL. He may have lost a few fights in his younger days, but right now he is tough as they come and I suspect Colton Orr would get his ass handed to him by Lucic if they go again.

Not really. People bash Komi for stepping up, at least he does. Looch actually ran from a guy and to B's fans, it's Oh well that's ok. Julien didnt want him fighting excuses. Yet the very next night he fought frikkin Nick Boynton. So you know why he ran, had nothing to do with Julien. He was scared.

Funny I didnt see him run at all. Your logic is flawed Lucic was young and an upcoming player w/e his name was is a scrub.

Let it go

you're making yourself look bad

same thing with the Orr people

I'm not saying you're wrong but Carkner is probably the wrong example to use when countering against Orr....

Julien doesn't want Lucic to fight unless the situation is like it was tonight, up 4-0. Why would any coach want their first line player fighting?

Cool, so why has Looch fought other scrubs? Scrubs that just so happened to be a lot weaker than BGL. But scrubs nonetheless. His fightcard has no talent thugs on it. Cept the diff is Looch knew he had a shot with those guys. You guys like the yellow streak that Looch had running down his back? Doesn't seem very Bruin like to me.

I have no problem with Looch, I like his game and style, but you guys think he ***** rainbows.
