I love the fact the Marty attempted to kickout Girardi's shot, and, instead, kicked it into the top half of the goal.

Deboer should shut up. He opens his mouth about how his team hates the Rangers, then he yaps about the brawls.

Dude, shut up. The Rangers dont care about you. And judging by the local coverage and attendance, neither does the Tri-State FRIGGIN area.

BTW, Hagelin has torched the Devils this season. 8 points in 6 games.

Hagelin has also torched Henrique since December. 34 points to 31, and half that was playing on a 3rd line or 4th line.

Hagelin .69 ppg
Henrique .71 ppg

I did an analysis of Hagelins even strength point production in the Hagelin thread about 4 days ago. He is way ahead of all other rookies in points per hour of ice time (he gets screwed in points/game as his average time on ice is much lower than other rookies).

He won't get Calder votes, but he is panning out just fine.

I come home from a year studying in England in late May. It'd be amazing to still have the boys playing then.

Just hope nothing comes of that Prust hit. Torts said he's ok (per Gross), but you never know if there will be a nick/anything worse that would slow him down especially given his style of play.

Anyone know how to look it up and confirm it?
Here it is

DEVILS
Forwards: Zach Parise-Adam Henrique-Ilya Kovalchuk. Defensemen: Andy Greene-Mark Fayne. Goaltender: Martin Brodeur.

RANGERS
Forwards: Artem Anisimov-Derek Stepan-Marian Gaborik. Defensemen: Dan Girardi-Ryan McDonagh. Goaltender: Henrik Lundqvist.

Artie, Steps, Gabby are apparently our "tough guys" to DeBoer

Just double checked in GCL. Anisimov-Stepan-Gaborik. Dubinsky-Richards-Callahan the time before. The time before that though, was when Rupp and Janssen went at it off the draw.

Helluva atmosphere out there tonight. Really contained the Debbies and scored some clutch goals. What a way to clinch!

Next game we play the Devils we call up Deveaux and dress Scott for the opening faceoff.

Deveaux - Rupp - Prust
Scott - Bickel

That would be some Old Time hockey for sure...

DeBoer is a clown. Rough games like that......seems like Kovalchuk and Clarkson are nowhere to be found. They looked brave when matched with Zuccarello though. LOL. Very satisfying win tonight.

Scott would rip Boulton's arm off and beat Janssen with it.

What DeBoer said is actually true. Rupp-Fedotenko-Prust opened their first game at the Devils way back on December 20th. Something tells me that Tortorella doesn't particularly enjoy starting the game that way, though, which is why he didn't do it in the game in January or earlier this month.

Even though DeBoer is suffering from short term memory loss, I like him as a coach. Dude is filled with fire. Makes the rivalry more interesting when our coaches hate each other.

I was thinking more along the lines of Roman Gladiators.

So, he's referencing a game from months ago? That's even funnier than being brain dead.

Happy to see Zucc contributing. Every game that goes by Torts is getting more confidence in him. That pass to Boyle in the third was sweet, Boyle just missed on the connection.

Feels good to clinch a spot so early, not used to this in the recent past. Now on to winning the Atlantic and number 1 seed!

Apparently Torts was yelling "**** you" to DeBoer? When was that? was it on screen?

You forgot Torts, who is probably not too far away from throwing down with DeBoer.
