Based off of what? Dubinsky would've knocked his ass back to the IR.

I'm not sure. He'd hold on for dear life like he does every time he fights. Halley's comet and Dubinsky throwing a punch have the same cycle.

Based off Bryce Salvador's previous fights:

draw against Prust
win against Shawn Thornton
win against Tim Jackman
win against Konopka
win against Carcillo
win against Crombeen
win against Stortini
draw against Rupp
draw against Darren McCarty

And has fights (don't know the results) against guys like Brad May, Turner Stevenson, Grant Marshall, Rob Ray, Luke Richardson, Bob Boughner, Scott Thornton, Chris Simon, etc. This list goes on.

All those guys are much tougher and better fighters than Brandon Dubinsky. So, it's a safe assumption that Salvador could easily handle Dubinsky.

It was smart of Torts to defend our guys. Devils were taking runs at us all night.

The last thing you want is a guy off a concussion fighting.

And Mike Richards's face disagrees with that silly post.

Really milking that one fight, eh?

Watching Bieksa mock him for playing huggy bear was great. Fights against Carter and Clarkson too, just got tuned up and didn't even bother throwing at all. I don't understand a guy like that even drops the gloves when you have no intention of doing anything. Awful, awful fighter.

that was amazing

Clarkson at 2:36 or so of the video is hilarious. He's the first guy on the Devils bench to stand up and he is already banging his stick on the boards and then it looks like he starts chirping the Rangers bench for a second. Love this ****!

These are two teams that have always hated each other. There's always ruckus when they face off, except that anemic 1-0 game back at MSG a couple of weeks ago.

The fans hate each other, the teams hate each other (no matter who is on the line up), the coaches hate each other and even the GMs hate each other. It's as intense as any rivalry gets, I think.

There are some carry over emotions this season, as well. Dubinsky made some comments about Clarkson after a game. Carter fought Dubinsky in the next game.

And much like this game, it was physical with emotions all in.
Not to mention both of these teams are on a bit of a skid right now and it's their last meeting of the season. Anything less than this would have been disappointing to this rivalry.

Based off the fact that Dubinsky is a horrible fighter and almost never beats tough competition. Aside from a win over Campbell 3 years ago, the toughest guy Dubinsky has beaten in a fight is Mike Richards.

Salvador is a better fighter and it's not even remotely close. He would have no problem with Dubisnky whatsoever.

Yeah, players make dumb decisions though.

Like carter. The reason why he got so ****ed up today is because his face was already stitched up.

I'm confused about this. When did that happen? And since when did Pete Deboer try to be a hardass coach trying to create a hardass team?

I guess in Johns world you can come into our building and start your tough guys, but we cant do the same in here, DeBoer said. Hes either got short-term memory loss or hes a hypocrite. So its one of the other.
