----------
Tragic Numbers:
Quad City - 31 points (16 GR)
Dayton - 16 points (15 GR)
Bloomington - 16 points (16 GR)

BERRY CONFERENCE:

Tulsa - 26 points (17 GR)
----------
Tragic Numbers:
Rio Grande Valley - 26 points (14 GR)
Laredo - 22 points (17 GR)
Arizona - 18 points (15 GR)

Um, I messed up my calculations somewhere -- I think Wichita had actually already clinched on Wednesday. I'll re-do these and post another thread.

The CHL has their first post-season qualifier, as Wichita has clinched a post-season berth. In addition, the league could see its first mathematical elimination of the year tonight. If Rapid City wins tonight, that will eliminate Bloomington from any possibility of post-season participation this year. Arizona may be eliminated as early as Friday night, if they lose to Rio Grande Valley.

Numbers as of 3/6/12:

TURNER CONFERENCE:
Magic Numbers:
Evansville - 9 points (9 games remaining) - 18 points to clinch the Turner conference.
Fort Wayne - 10 points (9 GR)
Missouri - 18 points (11 GR)
Rapid City - 19 points (11 GR)
----------
Tragic Numbers:
Quad City - 19 points (10 GR)
Dayton - 5 points (10 GR)
Bloomington - 2 points (9 GR)

BERRY CONFERENCE:
Magic Numbers:
Wichita - CLINCHED (10 games remaining) - 14 points to clinch the Berry conference, 15 points to clinch regular-season title.
Allen - 5 points (12 GR)
Texas - 6 points (9 GR)
Tulsa - 18 points (11 GR)
----------
Tragic Numbers:
Rio Grande Valley - 18 points (8 GR)
Laredo - 12 points (10 GR)
Arizona - 5 points (9 GR)

Bloomington became the first North American pro team to be mathematically eliminated from post-season contention on Tuesday night. ECHL Trenton could join them as early as after Saturday's games.

In addition, Arizona MUST win Friday's game against RGV, otherwise they will be mathematically eliminated as well.

TURNER CONFERENCE:
Magic Numbers:
Evansville - 9 points (8 games remaining) - 16 points to clinch the Turner conference.
Fort Wayne - 10 points (8 GR)
Missouri - 16 points (10 GR)
Rapid City - 17 points (10 GR)
----------
Tragic Numbers:
Quad City - 17 points (9 GR)
Dayton - 3 points (9 GR)
Bloomington - ELIMINATED (9 GR)

BERRY CONFERENCE:
Magic Numbers:
Wichita - CLINCHED (10 games remaining) - 12 points to clinch the Berry conference, 13 points to clinch regular-season title.
Allen - 5 points (11 GR)
Texas - 6 points (9 GR)
Tulsa - 18 points (10 GR)
----------
Tragic Numbers:
Rio Grande Valley - 18 points (7 GR)
Laredo - 8 points (9 GR)
Arizona - 3 points (9 GR)

No more clinches, but two more eliminations after last night -- Arizona and Dayton are now both out. Allen is on the barest cusp of clinching, and Texas could theoretically clinch tonight as well.

TURNER CONFERENCE:
Magic Numbers:
Evansville - 5 points (7 games remaining) - 14 points to clinch the Turner conference.
Fort Wayne - 6 points (7 GR)
Missouri - 13 points (9 GR)
Rapid City - 13 points (9 GR)
----------
Tragic Numbers:
Quad City - 13 points (7 GR)
Dayton - ELIMINATED (8 GR)
Bloomington - ELIMINATED (8 GR)

BERRY CONFERENCE:
Magic Numbers:
Wichita - CLINCHED (9 games remaining) - 12 points to clinch the Berry conference, 13 points to clinch regular-season title.
Allen - 1 point (9 GR)
Texas - 4 points (8 GR)
Tulsa - 17 points (9 GR)
----------
Tragic Numbers:
Rio Grande Valley - 17 points (6 GR)
Laredo - 4 points (8 GR)
Arizona - ELIMINATED (8 GR)

Allen has now joined Wichita in the post-season, and Texas is a stone's throw from joining them as well. Evansville is also knocking on the door.

TURNER CONFERENCE:
Magic Numbers:
Evansville - 3 points (6 games remaining) - 7 points to clinch first-round home ice, 11 points to clinch the Turner conference.
Fort Wayne - 5 points (6 GR) - 9 points to clinch first-round home ice.
Missouri - 13 points (8 GR)
Rapid City - 13 points (8 GR)
----------
Tragic Numbers:
Quad City - 13 points (6 GR)
Bloomington - ELIMINATED (7 GR)
Dayton - ELIMINATED (7 GR)

BERRY CONFERENCE:
Magic Numbers:
Wichita - CLINCHED (8 games remaining) - 5 points to clinch first-round home ice, 10 points to clinch the Berry conference, 11 points to clinch regular-season title.
Allen - CLINCHED (8 GR) - 12 points to clinch first-round home ice
Texas - 2 points (7 GR)
----------
On The Bubble:
Tulsa - 17 points (8 GR)
Rio Grande Valley - 11 points (5 GR)

Both teams have a max of 73 points, and a max of 33 wins... if they both win out, it would come down to the head-to-head tiebreaker, which Tulsa owns (four points to two). They do not play each other again in the remainder of the regular season.
----------
Tragic Numbers:
Laredo - 1 point (7 GR)
Arizona - ELIMINATED (7 GR)

So, some action, some more playoff qualifiers, a couple of more elimination, and one team even already locked into their playoff position... and one point away from the first playoff matchup being completely set.

TURNER CONFERENCE:
Magic Numbers:
Fort Wayne - CLINCHED (4 Games Remaining) - 6 points to clinch first-round home ice, 8 points to clinch the Turner Conference title.
Evansville - CLINCHED (4 GR) - 7 points to clinch first-round home ice. Has clinched a tie with QC, but has also clinched the first tiebreaker, which is ROW (Regulation and Overtime Wins) - Evansville already has 34 ROW, and QC can max out at 33.
Rapid City - 3 points (4 GR)
Missouri - 5 points (4 GR)
----------
Tragic Numbers:
Quad City - 5 points (4 GR)
Bloomington - ELIMINATED (4 GR)
Dayton - ELIMINATED (4 GR)

BERRY CONFERENCE:
Magic Numbers:
Wichita - CLINCHED (4 games remaining) - also has clinched first-round home ice, needs 1 point to clinch the Berry conference (or even a single SOW by Allen), 1 point to clinch regular-season title.
Allen - CLINCHED (4 GR) - also clinched first-round home ice, virtually locked into the #2 seed (but not quite).
Texas - CLINCHED (4 GR) - locked into the #3 seed, almost certain to play Allen in the first round.
Rio Grande Valley - 3 points (2 GR)
----------
Tragic Numbers:
Tulsa - 3 points (4 GR)
Laredo - ELIMINATED (3 GR)
Arizona - ELIMINATED (3 GR) - already clinched the league's worst record this season.
