Gauthier - Wouldn't care, he's not a great GM but I don't think he's as horrible as people keep saying

Cunneyworth - I'd be pretty disappointed to see him back

Gainey - Should definitely be fired just because of the gomez debacle

Gomez - This is the one I'd be most angry about. There is absolutely no reason why he should be on the team, he's worse than useless.

Same thing as my reaction this year:

Did not purchase any merchandise or attend any Habs games.

Stick that in your pipe and smoke it Molson. Oh yeah, and I've been drinking Labatt Blue.

This better not be true. Gauthier better get fired before he is able to lock the team with such a forsaken buyout. The Devils can pick him up from Hamilton... or Phoenix. Whichever comes first.

if true, i don't get that...

according to cap geek, buyout would cost the team 6,666,667 AND saddle them with dead cap hits of 3.5, 4.5, 1.7 & 1.7M over the next 4 years.

is the 3.334M "real dollars" saving really worth the dead cap space the next 4 years?

are the habs really that cheap?

if the team does go that route, I won't spend one penny on the organization or on Molson products, for the next 4 years... may be pennies to them, but screw it... if they are going to cheap out on their loyal fans who make the organization one of the most profitable in the league, they deserve a boycott of some sort.

Bury the guy in the minors if you can't trade him, end of story.

Gauthier can stay, I have wanted gomez and gainey gone for years now. RC is not a head coach, he will be replaced. If all three remain I will be pissed.

Gauthier has got to go. He may not have anything as ridiculous as the Gomez or Ribeiro trades to his name, but he was still part of management when these trades were made. In my opinion, anyone and everyone involved with the Gomez trade should be let go.

If you didn't tackle Gainey to the ground to prevent Gainey from calling Sather that fateful day in the summer of 2009, then you don't deserve to be employed by the Montreal Canadiens in any capacity.

Maybe he tried.

We're talking about a multiple Selke trophy winner here vs osteoperosisman
