And I'm sure LeClerc got it from that same BS site Marinaro dared to mention on the air. Pathetic.
Still, Roy might end up here in the end, but I don't know one guy in Qc that didn't think about Roy coming here. Everyone knows it's a possibility.
Makes no sense for Molson to employ Roy directly, unless he wants the input from Roy on which GM he'd like to work for. That would be backward work though, kind of stupid.
Can't make a comment on this since I'm not really sure what his strength are in a managerial perspective. I think he'll be good for Price as a mentor though, he has the experience what to do and not to do in Montreal.
I'm pretty wait and see about this. Won't lie, he wouldn't be my first to fifth choice for either GM or coach, it reeks of a PR move without actually interviewing anyone. And as we all know with the PG fiasco that not doing your due diligence is a huge mistake.
Much rather he takes a different position in the organization. Still, can't judge yet.
I have no doubts that with the Nordiques coming next year, and the fact that his younger son is in his last junior season, Patrick Roy isnt interested at all in being the head of the Quebec Remparts next year, who will get a lot less coverage. This all makes sense, and that would be a great news. You know that this guy cant stand losing and thats exactly what we need.
