Very nice GDT. A win tonight would be huge, pulling us within a point of the Devils.

Well hopefully that flu is all gone... Devils played a tough game last night, so hopefully the Sens jump on them early and put a couple in the net to start the game.. Really take the wind out of them early..

GO SENS GO!

This game is as close as it gets to a must win game if we want a chance at the 6th seed and not playing the Bruins in the first round.

There are also some hot teams behind us in the standings.

We still haven't clinched.

Buffalo is the only really "hot" team behind us. the others have had similar records to us in the last 10

We definitely need a win. While I would miss Spezza, if he needs time off I'd rather give him time off. He was paulbearer at the funeral, he's got to be upset (this is far different than a grandma dying). But hopefully having the funeral brings some closure.

Definitely need a win tonight. Hope the break let this team rest and get set and energized.

Konopka in and Butler out? I'm no Butler fan but this is not going to be a good decision.

I HATE THE ****ING DEVILS!!!!!!!! I watched the Rangers/Devils game last night, the Rangers were hammering them all over the ice, so they should be beaten and bruised tonight.

Hopefully the Devils are emotionally (and physically) exhausted after their crazy game last night.

Edit: Wait, that's what you just said...oh well.

I'd rather have Da Costa, Petersson, or Hoffman than Zenon.

I'd really like to see Petersson added to the line-up for more than a game at a time.

Greening-Spezza-Michalek
Petersson-Turris-Alfredsson
Foligno-Smith-Neil
Daugavins-JOB-Condra

Nothing against Klink really, I just don't think he is skilled enough to play in the top 6.

Petersson is a RW so to include him in the Top 6 at this time would change both top lines to something like

Michalek - Spezza - Alfredsson (eggs in one basket)
Greening - Turris - Petersson (weak to introduce a new player with these two)

That would not fly I think

Greening - Spezza - Michalek
Silfverberg - Turris - Alfredsson (would work IF #1000 come over)

Otherwise its Klinkhammer, Foligno or maybe Hoffman as Turris LW.

Give our positionning concerns (Boston or Pittsburgh) I doubt anyone from Binghamton is given a call until season is over. Winchester is ready by now as well I would assume.

Is this true? Last I heard, he was still having headaches and dizzy spells.

(**** Gaustad. I can't believe he didn't even get a 2 minute penalty on the play, let alone supplementary discipline)

This is one of the rare times I'm happy to see Konopka in the lineup. The shenanigans in the NJ-NY game last night were instigated by Deboer and if he pulls something like that again, we can throw out Smith-Konopka-Neil to counter it and make sure one of their goons doesn't elude the tied up linesmen and go after Karlsson or Spezza.

Way to take a page out of Lindy Ruff's book, Deboer, you POS. Try that BS with this team and you're stars won't be thanking you. Maybe we can get Hedberg and Bishop into it .

Also, ZK has been playing much better of late. He deserves to be in the lineup but not over Butler. Butler was the Sens hardest working player against the Leafs. It sucks seeing efforts like that punished.

Speaking of Winchester, his game-tying shorthanded goal with 5 seconds left last time we played Hedberg was crazy. Definition of Senatrolls.
