Don't mix things up. As people have claimed, players never tank. They never play to lose. Keeping that in sense, any Leafs fan has right to call a poor play by a Leafs player (simply because he isn't doing his job).

We lose 3 to 1 or 2 to 0, it's a tank. We lose 8 to 0 lets not kid ourselves it is what it is. CRAP!

So players never tank but you want these players to lose. You are all calling for a tank, yet want the players to NOT tank and play hard but still fail. If they do what you want, lose, than you will complain that they didn't do their job and played poorly. If they win, you will complain that they won, not fulfilling your wishes to tank.
IMO, if you want them to tank, let them tank and lose. If you want them to play hard, not let the team down and compete nightly, than let them do this and don't whine about it.
