Was just doing a quick google search to find a high school goalie we could call up, but it looks like they're all sick with some norovirus thing.

Guess we could just stick Homer in our crease?

Can the Wings sign someone overseas from the KHL or SEL?

I believe they can but they would have to clear waivers like Turco did and then they would only be available to play in the regular season.

Yeah, he really is. He said after last season, that he is gonna take a year off, but he has not planned retiring yet.

might be a blessing in disguise
may not have to verse Nashville and face Dallas instead for the playoffs

Can't we claim the Radulov treatment on Daniel Larsson. I know wishful thinking.

You realize there is a huge chance this is something that will never go away. Conklin and MacDonald are Detroits goalies now. Is there a team in the league that has a worse duo?

he's day to day

He'll probably miss 1 game. Even a completely torn groin isn't career ending.

Boston is an injury to Thomas away from having Marty Turco as their starter...you don't see them going all chicken little.

Well, MacDonald's injury is leaning towards the positive. It's not a disc in his back, just scar tissue.

Good. Maybe this will kick the team in the ass and they can let Howard really recover. Maybe the 6-7 seed won't be so bad.

edit - Do you always take your troll attempts to the main board when you don't get the response you want here?
Well actually come playoff time they would have to start someone from Providence, to lazy to look up who that would actually be.

Anton Khudobin. Conklin (I know it's the minors) has found some of his game down there. If he played more he could be serviceable. I won't sweat this though. I think it could be good for the defense to crack down more.

I wouldn't mind it. He can't be any worse than what is in GR...or Toledo rather.

Besides, it would be great to see the ruling if the Wings tried it.
