I noticed our PP really struggles against a high pressure PK

Schenn and Kadri are the most overrated prospects in their class.

Briere always flicks the playoff switch, but is the gap too wide between now Danny and playoff Danny ??

I wish Briere made at least 50% effort on 1st goal against.

Maybe Lavi should sweet talk him again?

obviously too early to be calling schenn overrated or a bust but I was really hoping to see more flashes of.... something by now. Besides a couple big hits he really hasn't done anything overly impressive.

He just doesn't look impressive at all. I'm not asking him to put up points every night but show some glimpses. He hasn't shown anything. His ceiling is a second line center at best. I don't even think he will reach that. Probably will be a career 3rd liner/2nd line tweener.

Honestly Wellwood looks better then Schenn.

The powerplay was 0-for-4 in the first period and the Flyers trailed 1-0. That's it in a nutshell. The Panthers second goal, off a fortuitous carom, gave them a 2-0 lead.

The good: Overall effort during the game and Wellwood
The bad: Schenn's line, special teams and we need goals from Briere.

Wow everyone pissed at briere, of course everyone (himself included) wants him to score, including lavy. Which is why he keeps playing him, like he kept playing bryz even when he was in a lull.

Bryz was benched for one of the biggest games of the year.

Granted, but it was a game more for the fans with little consequence, win or lose. The point is, if we want to make a good run this year, we're gonna need Briere scoring. Lavy knows this, and is trying to get him scoring again. After all, hartnell and bryz both turned it around, hopefully he can too.

Touche, and I assume whoever played with Chelios near the end would win by default.

what?? it was 2 points in the standings. every bit as important as Thursday's game.

Lavi oughtta sit Danny & light a fire under him, the way they benched Bryz [deservedly so, by the way]
