He's lucky Crosby didn't come back about 15 games sooner. Would have given him a run for his money.

1. Stick a fork in Stamkos and Giroux . . . they're done.

2. Let's keep this open and interesting: How about Geno races to get to 100 before Stamkos or Giroux hits 90? Anyone want to bet against Geno?

9 point lead or not, i'd not count Stamkos out of this race yet. Giroux? most likely...but not Stamkos. I bet he will get 6 points his next game or something silly. Stamkos is slumping, he's due for a huge game.

Doesn't matter . . . I called this two weeks ago. Stamkos thought he had a chance, but Geno has played his trump card. Mrs. and Mr. Malkin are in town. Someone might have been able to beat Geno. But, Geno on mama's borscht? Forget about it . . .

I just want this team to be healthy going into the post season.

Oh, and for Geno to hit 50g, and Neal to hit 40g.

James Neal is 9th in NHL Scoring!

72 points in 72 games.

If Neal can stay at that pace then 5M is a steal for a PPG player, aren't they normally 6M?

Neal's just been everything we ever could have hoped for. Add Niskanen on top of that, and man...

What a beaut.

Yeah I remember Malkin having a 7 point lead on Stamkos at one point and I figured he'd run away with but then Stamkos closed the gap.

It looks like Malkin should run away with this thing now that Sid is back in the lineup though as Sid makes our powerplay that much more deadly.

Malkin on pace for 49.615.

Neal on pace for 39.861.

Those "on pace" stats are usually a little inflated after big games, but in any event, they'll have to pick up the pace a little. Gonna be tough with our relatively tough schedule down the stretch.

Malkin on pace for 107.308 pts, fwiw. Giroux for 94.957, Stamkos for 95.667 (56.944 goals).

Don't know if it has already been posted, there is another impressive stats about Malkin - 42 out of his 50 assists are primary.

The Lindsay, Hart and Art Ross belong to Malkin, no doubt about that.
