This next game against the Blues is just as huge because it is a highly probable matchup for us should we make the playoffs.

Great to see contributions from just about everybody on the ice. Every forward line brought their game tonight.

Still doubt DL

Been impressed with sutter's changes. At first he said he wasn't going to change the system, but it's a credit to him that he realized it needed to be changed.

Never doubted the kings.

LOL, what?

If the Kings make it past the 2nd round I will happily eat crow.

I will give Sutter credit though, the Kings are a much better team with him in charge than with TM. Watching Jordan Nolan and Dwight King play it really makes you wonder what the hell TM was thinking coming out of training camp, how could anyone (besides you ofcourse) think Ethan Moreau or Trent Hunter deserved to be on this roster instead of a guy like Nolan or King.

TM was just absolutely clueless as a coach both with personnel and style of play.

A few worrying moments at 3-2, but Quick shut the door.

HUUUUUGE game from Kopitar. What a monster he is right now. Holy crap.

St. Louis seems like the kind of team they will get up for. Should be fun.

5 more wins should lock them in. GKG!

I think everyone posting in this board tonight can agree that the future looks much different than it did two weeks ago.

I've always said: seeding aside, you just want to be peaking going into the playoffs. Lots of work left.

Go Kings

This why I enjoy the Sharks' board. Some of the best humor around on these boards.

Get over the Ethan Moreau and Trent Hunter debacle. It happened, it's over.

Penner is becoming a useful player. That's a bonus.

With all the other contending teams getting points tonight, the Sharks had their worst possible night

DL doesn't get every move right. There's certainly been wasted talent here and there. But I love the team that he's assembled and we have on the ice right now. The fact that he's been able to get us both Carter and Richards within the same year - without giving up any of the core players except JJ (and he was replacable from within thanks to VV). Going back to June 1st even thinking that would be unfathomable.

That is really the big picture for me.

Man our top 6 centers were phenomenal. Both have identical 1g 2a 3p +2 statistics on the night.

This is a rabbit out of a hat in my mind. If someone told me that this time last year...

Yeah, really what we envisioned from the day Richards was acquired. I have criticized Kopitar in the past, but man is he dominating right now. Keep it up Anze, you are good enough to win a Hart in this league some day.

Plus King was trash last year when he was called up, I never wanted to see him in a Kings uniform again. Gotta give Dean props for believing in him and giving him another chance.

It was only 6 games, the kid did what everyone knew he would do and that is continued developing into an NHL player. Not the greatest LW but a good serviceable one. Next up should be Kozun and Muzz.
