Neuvirth played well when the Caps switched to a more defensive style. Varlamov was carrying the Caps defence while they were run and gunning. I watched a lot of the Caps playoff games and Varly was definitely making the bigger saves and changing games.

He's really calmed down in net. Giguere has been a great mentor in slowing him down so that he doesn't really need to make all that many herky jerky reactions that could cause him to mess his groin up.
