Not like the great upset of 1964 over Kentucky or the opening of the Convocation Center with a win over Rick Mount and Purdue.

And don't forget about Norfolk State. Hell of a day.

PS I am old which is why it would be great to see the Jackets get it together soon

Any chance you know of an available live stream? Andrew Hammond is my sister's brother-in-law, and we're trying to watch up here in Vancouver.

edit: well nevermind then.

Sounds like Andrew had a hell of a game though. What was the game winner like? They didn't do a great job describing it on the radio...

edit: and thanks for the effort, btw.

BGSU defenseman lost stick and MU forward put the puck in the crease. Mass of bodies crashed the net and a Michigan player slapped it in. Hammond played lights out! The game is saved on my stream on the channel I listed, if you want to watch it.

So much for OSU women being seeded too low. Will Foster survive another poor tourney performance?

I do like to believe that Michigan losing to Ohio is karma for Hoke and Bielein calling OSU "Ohio" for a solid year.

Nah, they just don't do so well up there with memorization of names, dates, places, and various intellectual things.

Cin OSU game time Thursday night is 9:45. Good news for anyone with Jackets tickets that night.

Wow I was looking at the schedule wrong. The Jackets play on Friday not Thursday.

with the new TV deal coming up, I will make an effort to watch some Crew games this year.

Can some soccer experts give me the beginners guide to Crew soccer? Haven't seen a game since they played in the Shoe. I know nothing.

Who to watch, etc. etc.

They play a horribly boring style. Warzycha loves a one-forward system, but IMO doesn't have the players for it. He's usually late on tactical adjustments.

Renteria is an injury prone bull of a forward. He's often the target, but needs some help. When healthy, he can be effective

Dilly Duka is a wide midfielder with some good potential. Eddie Gaven is another MF that is pretty solid. There are also some newcomers that could be good.

Overall, I don't see any way this team makes the playoffs, and they will struggle to score goals. Think CBJ on grass.

Tim Tebow to the Jets.

Looks like I won't be watching ESPN any time soon.

Oh, I soooo hope the Jets agree to be on HBO's Hard Knocks again.

On the field it makes some sense since the Jets had some success using Brad Smith in wildcat-type formations that I'm assuming they'd revive in some form for Tebow.

Off the field, I can't wait to see how Tebow meshes with the disfunctional mass of egos in green and white.

If there is any QB out there that I will derive enjoyment from the specter of Tebow lurking over them, it's Sanchez.

What are the odds Rex Ryan ruins both of Sanchez and Tebow's careers?
