matt bradley is a very strong player very skilled he may go higher then 24th I see where your coming from but he is a more flashy player then gorgio but gorgio is a great all around player and gets the job done. If youve only seen the one game its hard to measure players up for example ive seen barzal play quite a few games and a some of them he wasnt the best player on the ice but if you watch more then a few games you are able to see why he is 1st

Sure. I realize that. Not crapping on your list. It is very fair actually. Im no expert on the Bantams. Far from it. Was just sharing my observations from the tourney. I hope to spend more time there next year if possible.
I was amazed by the whole Semiahmoo team as they were shorthanded (maybe had twelve skaters?) whereas the SSAC had a full roster. Giorgio was impressive, and obviously he was very good in the tourney, (think he was third in scoring) but Bradley was about half the size, but he could do it all. Skate, shoot, hit, handle the puck. He also owned Giorgio on the dot, winning almost every draw the two took against each other.
The game was characterized by weak goaltending at both ends.
well thanks for the input I like hearing what other people think as well you have a very good arguement bradley is a very good player also fun to watch.
What about Sherwood park dmen Brendan Guhle and Cam Reagan? They are most likely going to go top 30.
guhle and reagan are both solid d men and they may go in the top 30 they were both in my mind when i made the list and if it was a top 30 at least one of them probly would have been in it. Shutting down morrison is a big task but thats one game he is probly the most skilled player in the draft and good on them for doing that.
Alberta has the 15 year old AAA division but it is not that strong as best players are in Major Midget. It is a good league for someone to jump up from AA to AAA and get seen if they have a great year though.
I think the 15 yr old Midget AAA league is the perfect place for the WHL to do their draft from. The rare exceptions (1 - 3 players) will of course be up playing Major AAA at 15, but in Calgary, at least, each of the 4 city quadrants has 2 - 15 yr old Minor Midget AAA teams thus giving scouts and coaches a larger group to view and draft from. 152 15 year old Minor Midget AAA players as opposed to the 76 players in the 1 team per quadrant Bantam AAA division.
i will be making a new top 30 list over the next few days
Jackson Keane will creep up.
Silky smooth and great hands. Very athletic. Maybe a bit small but will likely get Dads muscle tone (lean ...but very strong).
I had heard he was at 4-5th round at start of season. Now I hear 2nd round ish.
He is playing for the Burnaby Winter Cub and although his team just lost the PCAHA Flight 1 bantam championship to the Cloverdale Colts. Even with the loss, his team will still be playing in the The Bantam Tier 1 Provincials which will take place from March 19-22 at the McArthur Island Sport & Event Centre in Kamloops, BC.
BWC always seems to be good. I remember playing against them back in Peewee AAA, we just got killed every time we played them.
Game 1:
PAC Spruce Grove Saints vs SSAC Southgate Lions (Alberta)
SSAC controlled the game from start to finish. PAC was forced to dump the puck and SSAC defencemen repeatedly broke the puck out of their zone. SSAC's team puck movement was phenomenal.
Eye Catchers:
Giorgio Estephan F (SSAC) - looked very good, moves the puck quickly and smartly, part of the reason the SSAC powerplay was so dominate
David Quennville D (SSAC) - quarterbacked the powerplay, very poised and patient
Tyler Benson F (SSAC) - nice stickhandling and sees the ice very well
Nicholas Bjerre D (SSAC) - small but mobile defenseman, moved the puck very well out of his own end, plays with a needed edge for a small guy
Nicholas Sutter D (PAC) - played a good physical game and moved the puck fairly well
