If its an off evening for the Rangers after a bad loss i'll generally just pop in a road to SB 42 dvd or a Giants top 10 games DVD and it takes the edge off.

Its a minor move, folks. The Jets went out and got a backup QB who is young and has some ability for a 4th rounder. He adds a dimension that helped Denver get into the playoffs.

If the guy's name was Myron Hirschfeld with the same resume, the move would be applauded.

Myron Hirschfeld doesn't come with cancerous fans who will burn the stadium down if he doesn't play. You are not just getting a bad QB/back-up fullback. You are getting a guy who's fans have forced our a better player and starter in Kyle Orton.

The Jets single-handedly created a quarterback controversy for no real reason. It's a horrible move with pretty big consequences if Sanchez remotely starts to struggle.

I had Brady Quinn rated higher than Tim Tebow, as well.

You know how NY fans are. As soon as the Jets lose 1 game the fans will be clamoring for Tebow. It's inevitable.

We don't need Tebow. We sell out every home game let him go to Jacksonville Tampa or Miami. Our wildcat offense can b ran by J. Kerley or Joe McKnight we straight

Y bring Tebow in when we need to bring in more Weapons for @Mark_Sanchez let's build the team around him. We already signed to 3 year ext.
Cromartie's Twitter.

Tebow already dividing the locker-room minutes after a trade and before he ever plays a down.

The first one was last night when rumors the Jets were involved in trading for him. The other one was three hours ago. Cro has always been a guy who speaks his mind, and that's not going to change, it's his personality. I agree with him about bringing in more weapons for Sanchez, but we shall see what happens with the draft and if we can get impact there.

Just imagine Tebowmania from last year....

Now place that in NYC (media capital of the world of course) and times that by a thousand.

You get a complete circus, nonstop talk on the radio, extra publicity, everyone and their mothers talking about it, AND its all about a backup QB.

It's not humanly possible for the other players to truly focus on their game when the ONLY questions they are asked is about Tebow. ESPN created Tebowmania, just imagine what levels it will reach in NY.

You can be sure what he is saying is felt by a number of other players. He just speaks it. He's like Rolle in that regard.

I was never a fan of Tebow this isn't really that bad of a move for the Jets. It puts some pressure on Sanchez to perform and also provides the organization with a capable back up. Sanchez is a much better quarterback than Tebow and will continue to be in the future, IMO.

I'm pretty sure guys like Holmes and Revis aren't thrilled by this move either, but Tebow can add a dimension to the offense if utilize correctly. It worked in Denver as a full time offense. It can work here as a part-time thing. As long as his cult doesn't take over the stands, the move will be fine.

I think the Jets have a bounceback year, win with Sanchez and Tebow will add to the offense rather than hurt it.

The Jets were a media circus for 4 decades. Remember Brett Favre? Remember mark Gastineau? Remember Bill Parcells? Remember Nick Lowery and the chain gang? Remember Keyshawn?

The jets went B2B to the AFC title game under the same pressure. The same expectations every year. The same pressure.

Very true. A circus is created and all the attention is on the back up qb and off sanchez. As a jets fan I like the move. Sure it puts pressure on sanchez but that's a good thing. The pressure is on him internally while externally the focus is on Tebow

Schefter reporting Tebow deal close to nullification due to Tebow's contract. Could go to St louis instead.

I think NYC violates his "not enough Christians in the metro area" clause lol

Maybe Tim Tebow can use his degree in "Family, Youth and Community Sciences" to help Cromartie remember the names of his children better.
