Our god-tier PK came up huge at the end of the game last night, because the refs suddenly decided to call everything against us all at once after letting things go all game.

did we ever see any video of the Too Many Men? I am still wondering how bad the offense was.

My guess is someone on the benched missed the fact that Parise was playing hide-and-go-seek in the Ottawa net, but yeah, we're still waiting for a Zapruder film to surface on that.

I have come to the conclusion that Moose is the greatest back up in the history of the world because:

1. he plays 3 times a month but still dominates
2. I enjoy yelling "MOOOOOOOOSE"
3. he makes the team play better when he's between the pipes

Deboer sucks if he doesn't start Hedberg again. He's really being foolish if he doesn't.

If he's gonna role Marty EVERY playoff game even back to backs which is fine with me by the way, why not give Moose 2 more starts before the season ends? I mean Lou traded Terreri for Beezer with like 12-15 games left in 00/01, and Beezer started like 4 or 5 games! Marty was like 28 then.

The fact that the media building up this as being probably his final game of the season, and Deboer not saying ''We'll give him another start down the stretch before the playoffs start for sure.'' is making me think he won't be. Hope I'm wrong. I might be. That's just the vibe I'm picking up.

If the Devs do not feel that Kinkaid or wedge are close, and I doubt they do, I would gladly take this tandem back in goal next year.

He's our own regular Brian Elliot.

Moose - 4 shutouts in 22 starts.
Elliot - 6 shutouts in 31 starts.

Oh yeah Clemmer 35 saves, and 1 goal against from Philly last night huh?

Forget him! Moose got a 34 save shutout!

I'm getting a sneaking suspicion Lou thinks Moose is too old, and goes for Crapper Clemmer.

Clemmer's contract is up with Florida this year, and they already got a good backup prospect. We've seen him start against us this year when Moose played them.

Clemmer is clearly not as good as Moose. At least not this year. NO WAY! He's usually only good when he plays us. That, and last night I guess. I see he has a shutout in there somewhere too. BIG DEAL! I want MOOOOSSSSSEEEEEEE!!!!!! Don't even think about Crapper Lou!

Really? I don't get that feeling. I honestly think it will come down to $$$. If Lou wants to keep Zach and try to improve the D at all, his backup might come down to who fits in the cap.

Where are you pulling this Clemmer idea out of dude?

I haven't heard anyone mention his name really. And certainly not anyone that has any chance of actually knowing what's going on moving forward.

Pure speculation.

I'm surprised Lou even re signed Moose this year. It's very rare he re signed backups that weren't RFA's. Even Weekes was on a two year contract.

I don't think there is a GREAT chance of it happening. Perhaps not a good chance at all. I would rather have Moose though.

I would rather have Moose than Vokoun too. Moose will come cheaper, and we know what we're getting with him.

i don't care too much who our backup is, as long as he's better than the danis.

Was Yann Danis bad?

Did Yann Danis ever even play a game?

Big win by the Devs and would to see Moose play a few more games and keep Marty well-rested. Congrats to Kovy on 400!

From what Grant Marshall said the other night...Hedberg is in better shape than Marty is and he could probably last another 5 years in this league. He had nothing but praise for Hedberg.

Don't surprise me. Marty has way more wear, and tear. With all his playoff games, and regular season games he's probably played in 4 times as many games.

Even Dwayne Roloson has less wear than Marty.

He played like 4 or 5. One of them was a pathetic shootout loss to Toronto where he got schooled three times to the point where he looked like he didn't even deserve to be in between the pipes.

Haha yeah I know I remember. I remember that, and relief for Marty in that horrible MLK day on the Island.

I remember him starting a few games, but I don't really remember what happened specifically. Now that you mention the Toronto game though.

Yann Danis I forget what his contract was, but if Lou was bringing Frazee up like I said last night then that year was the year to do it when Clemmensen left rather than signing Yann Danis.
