Even if the Tebow-Jets trade falls through, I still think he easily goes down as one of the Top 5 Jets quarterbacks of all-time.

Two possible outcomes based on Jets history: 1) trade falls through, Tebow becomes superstar for another team; 2) trade holds, Tebow sucks.

If this trade doesn't go through, there's going to be 5,000 Jersey brahs with half-completed Tebow tattoos.
Apparently the problem is who has to pay Tebow. Jets don't want to shell out 5 million. Schefter says it's the same thing that help up a deal with Jax.
I don't hate the move, I really don't. Just pay them the 5 mil and move on. Not Denver's fault that we announce the trade and THEN read his contract. Embarrassing.
I'm done. **** this team. I will never root for another team, but I'm done with the Jets. Never thought I'd quit on my team...
You are one of the guys I LEGITIMATELY feel bad for, man. You have stuck with this team forever.

Ahh, you'll be fine once he scores his first rushing touchdown for the Jets.
It's not even about the fact that I hate Tebow. The team just does one stupid thing after another. Even when it looks like things will finally turn for them, it always ends with things exploding into a **** show.
They're not even lovable, incompetent losers like the Mets. They're unlikable. A bunch of jackasses and blowhards. There's no appeal.
I'm done. It will be hard as a sports fan to not pay attention while watching each Sunday, but I vow to not care. They don't deserve it.

I haven't found the Mets to be lovable for a while now.

Trust me, I feel your pain. How am I supposed to enjoy my team when management goes out and signs Plaxico Burress out of jail, or when the quarterback is allegedly involved with high school girls? And our coach is on the internet sniffing feet.
I like Tebow but this feels like a huge PR stunt to me. I guess we'll see what happens but for now I'll stick to the "typical Jets" point of view.
Especially with the Wilpons running the show. They actually make me thankful for Dolan.
I've always had the thought, "just don't embarrass me." The past few years have been embarrassing. From flying to the West Coast to fire Willie Randolph after a win to the Tony Bernazard fiasco and the ensuing press conference, to the collapses to Citi Field being shrine to the Brooklyn Dodgers, to the Madoff thing, I've been embarrassed.
I haven't found the Mets to be lovable for a while now.
Last set of lovable Mets was in the 07 season before the collapse, after that it's been downhill. My favorite Mets team to this day is still the '05 Mets, even with the deficiencies of Beltran that season. The team showed so much promise only to cause so much pain a few years later.
BTW, Jacksonville is back in on Tebow now that this happened. Hopefully someone down there can save us from Tebowmania happening at the Meadowlands.
The Jets will be fine. Sanchez will start all 16 games and Tebow will get key 1st downs and TD in short yardage.
The Jets still have 6 months to construct a team. Tebow is an upgrade over Brunnel.
Based off of what? THe only thing he is good for is the Wild Cat. Yet they already have Kerley who is MADE for the Wild Cat because he can, you know, actually throw the ball. Are they going to run a ****ing three QB set? ****, just line up both Kerley and Tebow and then who knows who will get the ball and who will do what! Flea flickers galore!
The Jets are unreal(I'm a Jets fan). This stinks of PR move. Tebow is not changing that locker room. I really hope Tannenbaum and Rex aren't that stupid but they might be. This team needs a top RB, a #1/2 WR, a pass rush and safeties that can cover. Instead they get 2 more QB's, sign Sanchez to a deal he doesn't deserve, and sign an injured safety who can't cover.
Right when I have some hope in the Jets, it gets thrown in the garbage. I can't stand all this nonsense. Just add it to the list of **** Jets fans have to put up with.
The only thing I liked about this off season so far is Sparano taking over for Schotty. That was a step in the right direction. I was very optimistic about the draft, hoping we'd take Courtney Upshaw at 16 (or T-Rich if he's available, which is highly unlikely), and use the rest of the picks for depth at RT/WR/Safety. Losing the 4th and 6th picks definitely hurt.
