Take a look. Fedor's only behind Seabrook, Meszaros, and Phaneuf. Not bad at all.

Even if people could argue that a few of the D-men reated below Toots could be rated higher,Tyutin has really turned it on and is deserving the praise...He's rock solid right now...

Not bad having a top 5 rookie D-man to go along with the Top rookie goalie (The King) a top 4 rookie goal scorer (Prucha), one of, if not THE best rookie PKers (Moore) and one of, if not the best rookie hitters/body checkers (Hollweg)...And all this with one second rounder and a bunch of middle to late picks...Not a bad bang for the buvk/pick..And that's not even counting rookie goon Colton Orr..

It's easy to forget that Tyutin's a rookie.

Fedor Tyutin started playing better when he was named to the Russian Olympic team before Christmas and when Maxim Kondratiev was traded.Tyutin didn't have to worry what is going on or not going on with Kondratiev

I wouldn't assume that was the case.. hes a rookie and his MO was pretty much inconsistency

Tyutin's been solid, sometimes its hard to notice

FWIW, Carlo Colaiacovo is rated as #19 on that list. I beleive Sather was trying to aqurie the Toronto defenseman as part of the Brain Leetch deal (as opposed to Maxim Kondratiev).

Tyutin was not playing good hockey before the end of December. He gets named to the Olympic team,he doesn't have to worry about how his buddy is adjusting to NA and is paired with Darius Kasparaitis after floundering with Tom Poti.Three reasons why Tyutin went from being just a struggling rookie who some people around here were calling an AHL player and wanted him to be sent to Hartford to regaining his form from the 2003-04 season

Just for arguments sake, how many rookie defensemen are even playing this year? 19 on a list that may only cover 30 guys isn't that great. 19 on a list of 100 is great...

wow how is Dallman ahead of Erhoff. Glad Tyutin is there. I like Erhoff, if Rangers Sharks make a deal, id love to have Erhoff on our team.
