For the record, I felt like Jones was a better player than some of the guys that year because he actually went to the net. Still goes to the net and gets those goals. I don't think Jones is any better than the forwards we have now though.

Someone has quick moderating hands today.

"waiver victim" huh? sure sounds like he crapped all of the team team, the city and the fans...

He did produce for a 3rd/4th line guy here. Just wasn't defensively polished at the time, maybe didn't have the attitude for it then, who knows. Obviously will never be the best skater.

On his goal celebration last night, that's his celebration every time, so to criticize that means you just don't pay attention. And even if he did something unusual or overboard last night, can you fault a guy for being pumped up about scoring on a team that cut him?

Hate on Hamhuis sure, he made comments about the Nashville attendance. Nearly everyone else who has left has been nothing but gracious and speaks well of their time in Nashville.

I was at the game last night and the house stayed pretty full throughout. A few people left at the 5:00 mark of the 3rd period but the mass exodus started after the EN.

The boo's were very loud and constant. Loudest I've heard the Bridge this season in person.

Just wanted to compliment our fan base. Last night was one of the worst no-goal calls I have ever seen, and did a Preds fan rush to start a thread about it on the main boards? Nope. An Edmonton fan did. And the first six or seven comments were from Edmonton fans/neutral fans. Considering I see every single thread that is started on the NHL forum, deleted or not, it's refreshing to know that not every fan base is quick to go belly aching just to get people to agree with them. Kudos

edit: btw this is not to say Edmonton fans were belly aching. Obviously they were ok with the call even if they thought it was incorrect.

I think the feelings of our fan base were well expressed at the game last night. If there was any doubt you would have had to been deaf, or "I'm blind, I'm deaf, I want to be a ref".
