i doubt its for Feds play. he hasnt been playing well. he has been taking a beating in the corners lately. maybe he needs a rest. his play counts in the playoffs anyways.. solid veteran, wouldnt mind him next year if its same contract as this year maybe with some type of bonus..teams win with players like him. he does have 2 cups and scored big goals during those playoffs...id let Boyle go and keep Feds..Rangers can have JT Miller take his spot.

If Kreider signs, I can really see these lines:

Hagelin Richards Gaborik
Kreider Stepan Callahan
Dubinsky Anisimov MZA
Feds/Rupp Boyle Prust
Mitchell

As much as Cally and Dubi work well together, I think Dubi and AA compliment each other's games even more (and it minimizes the face off problem of having AA at center). That would be three really balanced scoring lines and the fourth line would actually BE the fourth line.

If the Rangers win this game, I'll be very impressed. But this game screams "disappointing loss"
For all the "woe is us" talk that's been permeating this Rangers forum lately, the Wings have been in an even greater tailspin. Not only is their PP not scoring,.... they're not even getting in decent shots. Sure, losing the likes of Datsyuk and Lidstrom would hurt anyone, but for the rest of the team to crumble like this,.... I would not have expected this from an organization like Detroit.

With all that said, the Rangers' D corp need to continue to play like they did against the Debbies and we need to get more secondary scoring.

LGR!!!

I run Howard / MacDonald in my main fantasy league, and opted not to pick up Conklin tonight. Please don't make me regret it

Ugh for some reason my mac isn't detecting my flat screen. Guess I'll have to watch Pierre's huge dome on my small screen.

DET/NYR is my favorite cross conference matchup. Wish the 2 squads played each other more often.

Prepare to feel no regret this evening, my good man. Ol' Ty hasn't exactly been lights out this season for the Wings... he was good during his exile in the AHL, but since he's not facing the Hartford Wolf Pack tonite, I think you're good.

Love watching the NYR, and I try to catch games on MSG when I visit my folks in Syracuse- love hearing Sam Rosen calling a game (I know he catches grief on hf, but I like him). I have totally platonic man-crushes on Callahan and Dubi, and like their young D. And good God, how did the NHL's team Sweden miss out on Hagelin??!! I don't catch a lot of Rangers games in Michigan, but he's been an impact player in every one I have seen. Looking forward to the game- LGR(W)!

OK, start the game already.
I am ready, freezer full of ice, cold coke in the fridge, and half a gallon of Captain Morgan Spiced Rum.

LGR, Captain's order!

You are a Wings fan, not a Rangers fan. If you were a Rangers fan, you would know that the Wings are 99.9 % guaranteed a win tonight.

Back up goalies = NYR loss with 100 shots on goal.

Seriously. Rangers-Red Wings should be a home and home on the schedule every season.

Believe me, I'll take the win if Rangers will cough one up to us, b/c the Wings haven't played well enough lately to take many games (they could use the help). And your shot total doesn't seem that outlandish given our bad play in the Wings' zone.

lol well the point was that Conklin will probably have the game of his life tonight and we'll lose 2-1 with 100 shots on goal. But hey, I'm not arguing if we win

Roenick things we drop the ATL to Pittsburgh. Keith Jones thinks we hold on.

Kudos to you Keith, you are a gentleman.
