Go Cats Go?

OK... So I was looking around at where I could email somebody about this.. I go to every game and this drives me absolutely bonkers...

There are 2 chants that get put on the big screen during a game to get the crowd going...

"Let's Go Panthers" - which IMO the drum beat to it is just stupid, it should be a constant thumping not a alternative version of it.. If you've been to a game, you know exactly what I mean. Anyways, it's not what I really dislike, because Let's Go Panthers is our primary chant.

AND

"Let's Go Cats" - WHAT THE HELL IS THE POINT OF THIS??? Why have lets go panthers and lets go cats... My kids go to the games and want to chant, but they don't know which one to chant... So I tell them when it says lets go cats to just say GO CATS GO, instead... It's a log better chant, AND it gives us something to go up against the "go habs/leafs/pens.... go"

SO ... I ask all of you, does anybody know somebody to tell to get that changed from Let's go Cats to Go Cats Go? I think it would make a WORLD of a difference.

Yes, my favorite chant too... BUT, I also like Go Cats Go.. I will never say lets go cats

agree lets go cats just sounds stupid. Like something our estrogen enhanced voice of our PA announcer would say.

Let's Go Cats! is a weak chant IMO. Let's Go Panthers! is the way to go, but then again getting 19,000+ people screaming Go Cats Go! during a playoff game could be pretty awesome too.

I like "Let's Go Panthers!" it's traditional. That being said... I think "Go Cats! Go!" has a stronger sound to it.

Go Cats Go is nice and all, but I think it wouldnt work out so well if we played teams that brought in strong fan support, like the Habs or Leafs. It should be Lets Go Panthers forever, just like Panthers Goaaaaaal should always be around.

Personally I like the sound of GO CATS GO. LETS GO PANTHERS sounds a bit... droney LETS GO CATS just doesn't work at all.

I'm not as much a fan of saying "Go Cats Go." I think it's too similar to what Leafs and Habs fans already chant (Go Leafs Go, Go Habs Go).

I prefer "Let's Go Panthers" for the reasons listed by others.

I completely agree.. All I am saying is that there is a chant on the boards that says Lets Go Cats, I just ask that that one is changed to Go Cats Go

That said, Go Cats Go or Let's Go Cats wasn't so bad on Saturday night, because the Sabres fans had nothing to chant on top of it, heh.

The only thing I chant is Pantherssssssssssssss goalllllllllllll, and a lot of this lately.... Pantherssssssssssss winnnnnnnn. That's the extent to my cheerleading chants from home/in away barn. The atmosphere after games must be nuts there this late in the season.
