Kruger

Upper body. Somebody said they saw Kruger take another decent head shot. Morrison replacing him is not acceptable moving forward.

McNeill??

This is a blow, idc about the Kruger haters but he has picked up the offense over the last 5 games. He's had great chemistry with Sharp and Stalberg.

I always forget, can we call up junior guys for the playoffs?

I mean its a bad time to start using a 2nd line centre, but maybe its worth a shot.

Big loss for Chicago, especially if Toews remains out for an extended period of time.

Morrison will make Kruger look like Sidney Crosby.

I would actually like to see McNeill get a look for rest of season like Kruger got last year

Wouldn't hurt

I dont think Pirri would mesh well with Stalberg/Sharp and McNeill could provide some grit to there line

Yea with Toews out, this isn't good at all. When Toews comes back we will be fine. Hopefully for Kruger it isn't another concussion.

I'd love to see how close McNeill is.

Load up Sharp/Kane/Hossa, put Frolik and Stalberg with McNeill, keep the Bolland line intact and move Brunette down to the 4th line.

Sharp - Kane - Hossa
Bickell - Bolland - Shaw
Stalberg - McNeill - Frolik
Brunette - Mayers - Bollig
Jayes, Morrison

That is a terrible idea

Brunette-Kane-Hossa have been clickling lately

Stalberg/Sharp have shown chemistry as well and loading up on 1 line is recipe for failure

Brunette-Kane-Hossa
Stalberg-McNeil-Sharp
Bickell-Bolland-Shaw
4th line = Revolving door of players

Drop Frolik and put Hayes in there.

Loading up has proved not to work well in the past...

Brunette-Kane-Hossa
Sharp-McNeill-Stalberg
Bickell-Bolland-Shaw
Bollig-Mayers-Jayes
Morrison, Frolik

Frolik needs to be scratched from here on in. He has been horrible.

He was a hot mess tonight too. Skating into his teammates, breaking up our rushes. Not....not good.

He needs time with his linemates. I'd love to see Bickell Bolland and Frolik back together on a more regular basis.

It was in the 1st period. Canucks player came up and hit Kruger against the boards and it looked like his head hit the boards pretty hard. Then the dbag Canucks player just sat on Kruger while the puck was near on the boards. He just sat on him for like 8 seconds while Kruger was most likely concussed(although can't be positive that was it).

thanks great explanation. that's too bad though. kruger isn't a dirty player and doesn't deserve that

Gotta hope Kruger's not concussed again.

That would not bode well for us in the playoffs, and it'd be worse for his future.

Not just his future as a hockey player either.

Really? If by "clicking" you mean Kane and Hossa doing everything while Brunette tries desperately to keep up and when finally in postion, manage to fan or completely fail on glorious oppurtunties.. than yeah, they're "clicking".

Being short Toews, Keith and potentially Kruger for at the very least 3 games is a recipe for failure.. we give ourselves a better chance if Sharp/Kane/Hossa can carry the team through this stretch.

Kruger never lost conciousness. He got up right after the Vancouver player got off of him and was watching the play, with his eyes open, with the Canuck over top of him.

Whether he had a headache afterward, or he did something to his shoulder.. we won't know.

When I first saw the hit, I immediately thought "oh crap, concussion". The way he reacted to me just seemed weird. Then he skated away and I was relieved. Guess I was wrong. Again, that might not be the play, but I didn't see anything else.
