I agree they have to give it their all to take 1st in the East. Man I hate Pittsburgh.
On the other hand they have already been resting guys. Hank, DZ, Cally , AA have all sat out recently.........Eminger is now as well even though he's a spare part........no pt to risk an injury when the playoffs are the most important thing
Keep checking the Rangers site but I'd probably say the first week of April if I had to guess since chances are the Rangers will have home ice for the first round and the playoffs would start the following week.
That second line is a playoff style line. I'll love that line if they can get going.
Slide fedetenko into the 3rd LW slot to allow Boyle to play the position that fits him most, and he'd be one of the best in th eleague : 4th line C. Fedetenko is great along the boards, as is Ani. Nice balance of two way players and playmaking on that line. Ani and Zucc also have good shots.
I know Mitchell doesn't get much love on here, but I think a lot of that is people trying to emulate know-nothing Leaf fans and carrying on the Johnny Malkin nonsense (which btw all started by the Leaf's fans making excuses as to why Boyce and Bozak weren't the dominant players that the Leaf hype machine made them out to be). Mitchell's got good hands, doesn't turn the puck over, and thinks offense. He's also patient with the puck. I know that bothers some who think he overplays the puck, but I usually get to watch games twice, as I watch once live, and then once again when my roommate gets in from work. All the times I read people ***** about him holding the puck, I notice the second time around he hardly has anywhere to go with it. I guess people just want him to fire off a bad pass or a shot without a lane. I don't know.
Anyway, Mitch - Boyle - Pruster is a line that can generate turnovers, play physical, be good in our own end, and can handle the puck in the offensive zone.
