Cannata received the maximum $900,000 a year NHL salary he could get under terms of the collective bargaining agreement. He also received the maximum signing bonus of $90,000 for each year. His minor-league salary will be $67,500.
Well, at least there was one bit of good news today. Really excited about this guy. Ever since I saw his name I had a feeling he'd make it. Sounds stupid, but it's just the absolute perfect name for a player playing on a Canadian team.
