I am most definitely into MX too! Who's your guy(s)? I'm a Pourcel, and Stewart (only cause my uncle works on his bike) man myself, while Wharton's my fave in 250cc.

Been following AMA ever since I can remember, this year was the first time I missed the race in St. Louis.

I was a Jeff Emig fan growing up, then when Carmichael hit the outdoor scene on the Kawasaki I was drawn to him (mostly because of my dad...). Easily my favorite athlete. Now I'm pulling for Villopoto, reminds me of a young Carmichael. Always liked Bubba too, he just can't keep it on 2 wheels for a whole race

Well, it kind of looks like the season is wrapping up a bit. Villopoto is basically unstoppable at this point, hopefully the Lites makes up for it. The tour is coming to Toronto, couldn't be more excited! Anyone else going?

Congrats to Wharton on a very deserving win after some unlucky years!

Looking like the championship is almost definitely Villopoto's, just too many injuries with Reed, Dungey, and Stewart now. RV has ridin on a completely different level though, unbelievably fast.

Anyone see the race today? I missed it/forgot to DVR. Thoughts?

Villopoto won again and Stewart crashed which clinched the championship for Villopoto. Roczen won the 250's

Good for him, he definitely deserved it, lame season though. Interesting for all the wrong reasons. I mean, two runaway champions? Sigh. West Lites/2012 Outdoors anyone? Haha

I agree, I think it would be much different if Reed didn't get hurt in Dallas, it was shaping up to be a great season until that flip. West Coast Lites were great though going down to the last race, hope Wilson goes up to the big boys with Barcia next year to finally see them race together.

For sure, I talked to him in Toronto and he was smiling but you could tell he thought this was his championship to lose, a great attitude to be able to chase down RV1. I have to admit, Daytona was the last straw, I just couldn't get excited for the big bikes easily anymore. Still one more race for the West Lites, its going to be crazy! Barcia already proved he can run up front in the Outdoors last year, ruffled some feathers and didn't back down. Scary talented. Almost no transition needed from what I've seen.
