GUY BOUCHER:
Quote:
  • "Everything matters, that's my message. Everything we do today matters for tomorrow, it matters for next season, it matters for the team, it matters to them personally and it matters to the organization and it matters for our fans.''
Quote:
  • "The score is going to be whatever the score is going to be, but we have to maintain a high standard of not just play but of character and work ethic and attitude. It's tough to be tough mentally right now, but that's when we have to be the toughest. That's why the next two games in front of our fans have to be full out, everything we've got so it's worth their money. It's not about winning right now. It's about giving that work ethic, giving every single ounce of energy we've got to be the best we can be on any particular night. If that means winning, great. If that means it's a close game, great. If it means we lost, well we want to lose with everything we've got."
TOM PYATT:
Quote:
  • "So, you just can't give up. It's a tough situation, but guys are playing for jobs and their careers. Guys are getting an opportunity. You're always working for something. Everything you do matters, practice matters.''
VICTOR HEDMAN:
Quote:
  • "We still have to take pride in our game. If we play loose like that these next 10 games we're going to be embarrassed."

LET'S GO BOLTS!

Ugly games for the remainder of the year are fine with me. Let CBJ and EDM keep winning.

A game a gainst a team they should beat = blow out by the visiting team.

Thankfully, I won't be there.

Roloson confirmed.
Quote:
In 17 career appearances against the Oilers, Roloson has a 4-11-0 record with a 3.33 GAA, .875 SV% and one shutout.
Another 9 point game from Sam Gagner?

Hope Khabby gets a nice greeting and that's about all I have for this game.

I'm kind of looking forward to this game actually. Totally different mindset when you go in expecting them to lose.

Hopefully see Stamkos at least tie Vinny's record tonight.
Finally see Khabi play against the Lightning live.
Make fun of Clark.

Should be a good time.

Day-to-day with an upper body injury.

Since we're losing, northern writers aren't watching.

When we're winning again, and therefore ruining the game, then they'd jump on something like this.

The Oil coach a few years ago said something to the effect of "If you're going to lose, at least lose with commitment."

Well, since he left he's 1-0-0, 1.00 GAA & .957sv% and that's the only time he's faced Gags. The rest of your stats go back to his Minny & Buffalo days.

I hate when he plays against his former teams since I'm fans of those teams because of him, can't root against him or them. Not going to watch, I'll DVR and decide later.

Stamkos is my only reason for attending the remaining games this season. Keep em coming!

What the team is doing wouldn't bug me as much if we had Caron in net. Sending Tik back to Norfolk, and having Caron sit on the bench is not an improvement on Roloson's goaltending. In fact, it doesn't address it at all.

They are just trying to get the highest possible pick in the draft..
