We had our chances and we managed a point. I sure hope Wideman does not get resigned. I am very happy with Holtby.

Go Caps!

Would have preferred to see 52 or even, weirdly, 22 instead of 20 or 23.

OK so I hate Brierre Hartnell and Simmonds in no particular order.

Julie to the rescue.

Team played very well defensively, should have capitalized on a few of those point blank chances. Overall if they play like that they will do well.

Brouwer's got much better hands than Wideman. Would've gone with Green maybe, but there's nobody else unless you think Perreault will suddenly become good at it.

We had our chances. Didn't converted. 1 pt is still better than nothing.

5 points out of 10 from the road.

That's good.

Green can apparently see the Matrix again, why not send him out for a SO chance?

Yeah, maybe. Has he ever scored in the shootout? Dale might not have liked his PS moves, or figured that would have tipped Bryz off, but maybe.

Oh yeah, I forgot. Irritation blotted that one out.

But yeah, Green, Wideman, Perrochocinco, Mojo, or a variety of the other forwards before I'd have sent out Brouwer.

Maybe Green would be a good choice, do something for him to get a puck into the twine finally.

Our SOL shows our lack of skill.

Hendricks the lone bright spot. Coin needs to shave about a foot off of his halberd. Ovi needs a new move.

i thought the caps had the better of play. bunch of missed opportunities were the difference. but yeah, .500 hockey on a tough road trip is nothing to sneeze at for a team that couldn't find it's ass with both hands away from Verizon a month ago.

Tomorrow's game is HUGE. Must be ready for Jets' speed game.

That was pathetic all around. Holtby did he best TVo impression on weak shots. Aucoin missed a fairly open top corner, but that was his best SO attempt all season. I would think Laich, Green and probably Wideman before Brouwer...

Ovie looked to me like he over-thought it. Just skate into the slot, double clutch and snap it.

EDIT: worked for simmonds.

What about 74? Has he ever attempted SO? Seems like he might work there.
