Just my opinion, but our full squad doesn't beat theirs.
Sadly I have to agree. We have to improve our talent level to compete with that team.

All we can hope for are the Pens get knocked out in the 1st or 2nd round at this point.

Sid can't buy a goal. Granted, he's drawing the defense to him and creating space and opportunities for his linemates, but ...he doesn't have a goal in this comeback yet. Pens are dominating other (actually good) teams even without Crosby scoring. I mean, who knew that Matt Cooke could finish goals like this? WTF?? Who is this person this year?

Cooke, Clarkson, and Hartnell each have sacrificed goats in their backyards before the season began.

Malkin scored again. He's 5 short of 50. I hope he does it.

You mean on pretty much an empty net tonight and against the Rangers?

The Predators are a semi-recent expansion team and they have only had one top 5 pick. What is Tanksburgh's excuse?

I guess the goat store ran out goats before Dubi and Boyle could get there

Chronic slew footer?

He is already a lock for the Hart, I personally find it hard to wish him anything more than that.

Anyone else hate it when the Chico Resches of the world and these boneheads refer to players by their first name? Very unprofessional.

I know he's a division rival but he's still one of my favorite players.

Yes. The only guys allowed to do this are the VAN announcers when talking about the Sedins, and Nashville when talking about AK and SK. Everyone else should use last names only.

Even worse- hearing Geno and Sid on the Pens homer broadcast.

BTW, what's up with Philly? They haven't been allowing many goals lately but they haven't been scoring either. Did they sacrifice offense for defense?

Yep, Jagr got ****ed.

But Hank isn't Russian and he's a media sweetheart. I think this year is definitely his year. He's as Americanized as you can get- lives in the greatest city in the world, poses for GQ, does concerts with John ****ing Mcenroe. Its like a cult of personality.

Honestly, I can see Hank winning a Vezina when he's really old ala Brodeur because of his reputation. If he can retire with 2 and a cup, he's a 1st ballot HOFer.

Started watching the Pens game. I turned it on and it was 4-1 and they're commentators were making Jack Edwards and Boston's crew sound good. It's disgusting. I want nothing more than to see them get bounced in the POs.

And yeah, it's a shame Malkin does so much dirty ****. He really is a monster of a player.

Put Crosby and Malkin's skill in Ryan Callahan and David Backes and IMO you have two guys who could be top 5 forwards of all time.

BTW, Rinne's 2.45 goals per game average is .58 more than Lundqvist's and is more than Lundqvist has had in any season of his career. Lundqvist didn't sniff the Vezina in his worst season at 2.43. What a joke the Rinne fanboys are.

As much as I hate to say it, but to win in the playoffs against the Pens will be almost impossible. At least not this year.

I agree that Malkin has scored some big goals against the Rangers, but Crosby has still posted a 20-36-56 line in 39 career games against the Rangers.

What happened? Did he get hurt or go in a slump? (Couldn't have been that long of a slump, he was scoring very recently).
