I love Hemsky and Hartkianen together. I feel Hart is what's given Hemsky so much life recently, keep them together.

It is pretty clear why that line is working right now. Whenever Hemsky is carrying the puck, Hartikianen drives the net. That means he is taking a defender with him which opens up a lot of room for Hemsky to weave around in the slot.
That has been our best line the last 3 games by far.
Hemsky was flying out there. Omark with a goal, 6 shots, and drew the only penalty against in 12 minutes of ice time. Glad to see Smid get a goal. The difference between his game now and 2 years ago are night and day.
Overall, the Oilers have points in 5 straight games, so all isn't bad, except for improving our position in the standings too much. I'll be glad when Renney is gone tho.
They both should have gone before Harti and Smyth. That was just plain wierd player selection.

The only explanation is that Tambo told Renney to lose in shootouts by picking the Smyths of the world in tank efforts. That or Renney has lost his mind.
As opposed to Ebs shooting right at the pads, or Smyth hitting the post, or Hartikainen's...I don't even know what that was?

I'm trying to say that it was neither better or worse than any of those tries. He tried a slap shot, which hit the net, and had as good a chance of going in as any of the others. The person I was responding to singled his out opposed to the others. That's all I'm saying...
Smythe over RNH in the the shootout because he has played with Roli, is what Renney was thinking. Harti because the kid has been flying and confident.
Oilers...although it would be hilarious to see us pass a lot of these teams considering how we sucked for so much of this season I would ne upset if we didn't get our chance for Grigorenko.
