No shame in losing to the best team in the league.

HOWEVER.

1. Peks has looked bad the past few weeks. Injury? Tired? Who knows. Fix it.

2. Weber and Suter have looked bad. Fix it.

3. No one can play like Josi as a puck mover? Bring up Blum and try something new.

4. Rads Smith AK

5. Get AK on a scoring line.

Brutal would be her owing me a 2011-12 gamer if we make it to the second round .... Rinne/Weber/Suter if we make it to the WCF. The current levels are far from brutal.

I don't think it's brutal at all. A couple hundred bucks and some crow.

That would be better than the current bet , have no idea how much game worn jerseys cost though

Anyways, not trying to stick my nose in this, so I won't comment further.

Premiere jerseys start at $115 ... authentics start at around $299 ... gamers for this year start at $450 with the stars at over $1000.

Some genius on the Pens board said that the Preds are overrated and looked like total crap. He said the Preds didn't hit etc....I'm sorry but I just don't see it that way. The Preds outshot then and had more hits. They blew chances at open nets that you could have driven the zamboni through. Malkin is a beast but Rinne scored his first goal for him. Weber also had a flukey goal go off his skate. That game was a lot more evenly played than the score indicated. It just irritates the $*** out of me. They are a great team, but it's like they listen to their homer announcers so much that they are brainwashed by them.

To be fair, our D game is like crap.
And Rinne is on vacation...

Offense is scoring and generating chances. But when you have in mind that your D is not at best, it is just doesn' go very well, no confidence...

I have been asking why are offense cannot bury open nets, breakaways, and outnumbered breakaways all year. It is not funny anymore. I hope next week we do not flop. It is a big chance to flex are muscles a little bit and ramp up confidence going into the playoffs.

Should be like boot camp out there right now.
Everybody get 10 tries at open net, some miss one, everybody do it all over again until all on the same page.

yeah. go bootcamp with a bunch of guys who have minor dings, and want to be ready for the playoffs with a back to back and a huge week for playoff positioning coming up. makes total sense. should go ahead and hold 2 a day bag skates too.

While we are at it, turn the hot water off in the hot tub and make them bus to Chicago after Saturday's game. That will motivate them.

I really don't get the whole My Lil' Pony craze...

Nice bet between hockey diva and 101st. Seppuku (harakiri) would have been more ballsy, but bets are always fun

And as far as some Pens fan saying Nashville is a crappy team, you have to remember one thing. The Pens absolutely sucked for a while before they got Crosby, Malkin, MAF, etc. That team was just bad. The fan base was dwindling. The team was nearly sold to Balsillie and moved just before Nashville was nearly bought by Balsillie and moved. Then, they went to a SCF twice, winning one. Their bandwagon is over capacity right now. A lot of new fans. A lot of young fans. A lot of people who are perfectly capable of talking out of their ***** when emotions are high, regardless of if the emotion is happiness or anger. It's pretty easy to spot the people on HF Boards who don't know a damn thing about hockey. Just ignore them

Boullion is pretty bad. I think I'd rather have Ellis getting overpowered in D zone, at least he makes up for it with offense.

I can't believe we almost agree on stuff here. Number 4 is the only one I would have an issue with, but only bc I want 47-11-33 on a line and 46-15-27. only thing that scares me is defense off the third unit there.
