I also remember looking at the scores from the Tri Cities/Spokane series a few year ago. I think it ended 4 games to 3 as well and 4 or 5? of them went to OT.
AGREE! I was there in person and was the best series i have ever seen in person, hands down! Triple overtime and the Arena fills with fog, Game went till 2 in the morning. Then Brennan Bosch Scores in triple OT!!!!!!

I've played in a few big rivalry games. Regina vs. Moose Jaw and Tri-City vs. Spokane.

Hands down the Americans and Chiefs are one of the biggest rivalries in the WHL. It goes as far as the Chiefs making a fake wedding proposal play during a tv timeout which in the end rubs Spokane's latest Memorial Cup ring in the American's faces.

Hands down one of the best series I've watched, even though my team was on the losing end.

Another great playoff series was Vancouver vs. Spokane in 2009. Games 5, 6, 7 all needed OT, 5 needed 4OT, 6 needed 2OT. I was at Game 7, so given the previous two games I figured we'd be in for another marathon but Vancouver ended it pretty quickly.

Went to the Giants/Silvertips game on Friday night. That rivalry is on life support, if not already dead. I'm going down to Everett on February 18th when the Giants pay a visit, hopefully their fans still hate us a little bit.

Swift Current Broncos and Medicine Hat Tigers.

Swift Current hasn't been that strong since Eakin left, but historically this has been a great rivalry.

Hah, this rivalry got ignited again at least somewhat. They played 3 games in a span of about a week, and at the end of the first game, Gallager came by after the horn and blew a kiss to the Everett bench or something like that. The next game was really nasty in Everett.

Good to hear. Never did get to make it down to Everett in February, had a broken foot.
